    IRON:

I have read many posts where some people agree with bringing travel irons on and some who do not. To each his own. I bring my small travel iron. I keep it hidden in the room. If you bring one, REMEMBER to unplug it!

Also, I have found on other trips (non-cruise) that Downy wrinkle release works well too!!

To each his own? NO NO NO!

Irons are a fire hazard, which is why they're dispensed in a controlled fashion. The ones in the ships laundry are inside a room with steel walls (not wood panelling).

Fire is the absolute worst thing that can happen at sea... (well...icebergs are pretty bad too).....so please for OUR safety, don't bring your iron.

A small travel steam iron should do the trick, and would be a lot less likely to ignite anything combustible.

If you know enough to know that you should HIDE your iron, then you should know enough to leave it AT HOME! :(

  2. There were some very kewl animals left in our room every night too. The wife was kinda disappointed when we got home because when she washed em they turned into towels. I think she washed the magic outta them too.

Hmmmm..... I don't think you're supposed to take them home! ;)

  3. FYI, the gifts that some agents give comes out of the commission they receive from Princess...so in essence YOU are paying for your own gift! I prefer an agent doesn't give me a gift but the best rate possible and rebate back most or all of the commission!

Wouldn't the world be wonderful if ALL travel agents were willing to work for free?

  4. Thanks for the nod of support to Friends of Bill W., Even in this day and age alcoholism is considered a moral failing

Ignore what others think. An addiction is not a moral failing in any way, shape or form. Unhappily, some people are more susceptible to the disease than others...but no disease is a moral failing.

I'm not a FOBW, but I have a lot of respect for people who are. I know the two don't really compare, but I still mark each day since I quit smoking a pack-a-day (5 years & 3 months so far!) with Not One Puff.

    Good luck.
