  1. For that December sailing you should have got “Drinks on us” (maybe not for Australians) they have different specials for specific countries. If you did you can upgrade it, as it is only house wine, beer and liquor (rum/coke, gin/tonic... etc not cocktails).

  2. They don’t usually have drink package discounts, you have more chance that they will suddenly put the price up. If there is anything you like, Spa, photo or Internet I would book and pay for it so you get the current price (especially for Caribbean Cruises)

  3. I got off the Seaside a week ago and I am still in awe of the performances.

A couple that were just amazing especially was Timeless.

But nothing could compare to the goose bumps I got when the song "Never Enough" was sung...I think it was on the 2nd night of the cruise.

If anyone is on the Seaside or going to be on it I would so much appreciate it if you could record this one song and send it to me. Their rendition was so beautiful. I still think about it. It included the head female singing with the backing of the other sings...really beautiful.

I will not distribute it...only for my personal use :)

No takers? I sail 5/5 will try to do it.

  4. If you have 20 peace’s laundry does a pair of sock count as 1 or 2

Also for people who has tried it. Can you send it out more than once like 10 & 10 or do you have to send all 20 at one time

It is a total of 20 items they don’t care how you send it, I wouldn’t send it out past day 4 of 7 nighter. I don’t send socks, I send shirts that need ironing and other big things so don’t have to when I get home. Make sure you ask for laundry bags on day one.

  5. Which group will be on the May 5, 2018 Seaside sailing? Do you know how many people are in the group?

I was told weight watchers (there were around 1000 the last time) sequestered part of the buffet with WW offerings had signs up restricting access and seating in buffet on Divina, I sat there anyway.

  6. If they need to get people out of the MDR, that low price was probably good at moving some folks into other venues. We are debating doing the triple because as a family of 4, that is almost 400.00 to our cost. I haven't heard one way or the other definitively, but if there is no flexibility in the options, then at least 1 of us would not use the Ocean Cay meal.

I tried to upgrade my classic drink package this weekend and they told me I now have to do it on board.

  7. FYI nothing to do with lobster, I heard there was another weight watches group on this sailing. We have them on 5/5/18 Seaside

  8. No I would do it before boarding, I have a Seaside sailing on 5/5 and this Thursday I will Call and upgrade my classic package. It appears that things are constantly changing on Seaside: Trio dining packages gone up $20, internet packages down to only 2 choices, photo packages prices hiked. So I think sooner that later is safer for anything you plan on doing.

  9. Has anyone had any issues with regard to anything coming back damaged ?

No have used the laundry package on Divina as well as many HAL ships no problems. Just make sure you ask for a laundry bag from cabin steward on first day. We sent things out on Thursday and was hounding him to bring our laundry back on Friday night.

  10. We got a clam shell once on Half Moon Cay, I would not recommend them, they trap the heat. You are better off going down the beach there are loungers and shade from the trees, much nicer with the ocean breeze.
