Hey everyone, I have some more questions for you guys.

My family and I are going on the Getaway this weekend and it will be the first cruise where we have to tender, in Belize.

What is the process like?

Do you get tickets and if so how/when?

How long should we expect the process to take?

Thanks for the good information, I have this same cruise this Sunday and my family and I are really looking forward to it.

One question, we are thinking about doing the same cave tubing excursion and are worried about getting back on time.

Are we just being too nervous for getting back to the boat on time?

How long did it take you to get off the boat in Belize and take the tender to the port?

I don't know the tender time either but posted another thread asking what time we would be off the boat.

The only response said it would be within minutes of docking so I am thinking that with our dock time of 8:00am we should definitely be off the boat by 9:00am.

The itinerary says we will arrive at 8:00am for each port but what is a reasonable time to say we will be off the boat?

One other question, the Norwegian itinerary says that we are in Belize at 8:00am but what time is it reasonable to say we will be off the boat?

I am looking for some help/piece of mind :confused:. My family and I are on the Getaway for the June 26th out of Miami. We would like to do an excursion in Belize because everything that I have read says that there isn’t much to do around the port.

The excursions that are offered by NCL either are too expensive for our taste or aren’t that exciting. We found a cave tubing excursion that we like but it is not through NCL.

Should I be worried about getting back to the boat on time before it leaves? This would be our first time with booking an excursion not with the cruise line.

Please let me know your experiences with excursions outside the cruise lines, especially with NCL and/or Belize.
