I was one of the swaying guests and actually was escorted around the the buffet and one of the officers filled my plate for me and someone else carried it to the table, LOL, Never had that kind of service before, very nice of them to take care of this young old lady. Food was good at the brunch, nice variety.

Good to know as this is my first cruise with Azamara. I was actually surprised that Azamara allowed a 125% single supplement for the Owner's Suite, it was a huge savings even with $1600 in onboard credit which I mostly applied to shore excursions. I couldn't pass this maybe once in a lifetime cruise.

I stayed in a small hotel in Recoleta the Mio Hotel and you could see the police in attendance near the shopping center next to the Recoleta cemetary and nearby. I didn't feel threatened or unsafe. Kept an eye out though. Judy

Never cruised on Windstar, should be interesting to find out how you like the ship. It has always been my dream to sail on a large sailing vessel.

Following along. I may do the TA in April to Barcelona so getting a feel for this ship. Would it be safe enough for a 60 something woman alone to ramble around Barcelona? And, does anyone recommend a hotel or rental apt. there. Considering a sunset balcony cabin, what are the thoughts on this? Thanks. Can't wait for more info from Barcelona to FLL.
