According to my schedule the Merc is sailing from SF on the 27th of April, but it is an old schedule. Whats the itinerary?

Hey Folks,
Any other locals going on the Dawn Princess to Mexico on the 5th of Feb? This cruise ends back in SFO on the day that IBR starts.
I will be onboard with a friend from Chicago.

Gary,
FYI Atlantis/Olivia/RSVP all negotiate the food and thats why the charters are "dumbed down" so to speak. Foood is the only thing the cruise lines will even talk about lowering the price on.
One way to get that back to normal is to get on that e-mail circuit and let them know you are paying a premium and feel that the food should also be a part of that premium. With RSVP's new owners it may be the time to start there.

Thanks Gary, we will be decked out for haloween so if any pirates cum aboard they may feel at home. (no misspellings here)

Jeff and I leave on the 7th for South Africa, where we will board the Pacific Princess for a 28 day cruise to Sydney. Looking forward to our time on the high seas.

SFgoguy, you are more than welcome to name the company here on CC, you just can't put it in the heading. There are a lot of posts mentioning RSVP/Olivia/Atlantis/Pied Piper etc.

Holy Crap (as Frank Barone would say) thanks for catching that. It seems like a long time between cruises, but thats kinda crazy.

ssantow,
I am not sure when you were last in Australia, but visa's have been required for more than 10 years. New Zealand did not require a visa last time we were there (2004)
We are on the oct13 sailing of the Pacific princess and just got a comfirmation from princess that the visas had been issued and no action required on our part.

As usual on Pride Sunday, we will be Personing the San Francisco Gay Mens Chorus' beverage booth. All welcome to stop by and say hello.

Just thought I would check again and see if any locals were joining us on the 5/18 repo of the Coral Princess from here to Vancouver.

Darn, Darn, Darn. We leave on Tuesday for Fort lauderdale for the Maasdam cruise.
We both wish you all the luck in the world in your new city. Thank god we can all stay in touch here and other places.
Happy sailings Brian.

SFBEAR,
No need to worry about missing a couple weekends at the TP, what do you think will change??
An institution like that stays pretty consistant.

Thanks Brian, thats where we docked last time on Princess, so I know where it is. Just glad to be in manhattan.

Brian,
I have a question for you. We are sailing into NYC on the Masdam and will be there for the day before heading up to Montreal, where does HAL dock in NYC?

Hey Folks,
We have been pretty quiet here lately. I suppose everyone has been out on the highseas (I know Brian and I have been)
Just a reminder that on the 9th of May we will have 4 (yes 4) ships docked here in SFO.
There will be theDawn Princess, Celebrity Sumit, Vision of the Seas, and the Yorktown Clipper.
Will be a pretty crowded day down near the ports.

Welcome to our world. Princess offers a 10 day mexico sailing almost all year round.
Thanks Beav for the info, I will have to take a look. I have not heard anything about pier 27, will have to do some research.

Brian,
That is the hardest part of the Coastal cruise, having to get off in only 4 days. I am just settling in and then "POOF" they send those damn luggage tags to your room and you know you are doomed to set foot on land again.

Andrew,
Thanks, we have done the coastal thing a few times, love it. I had heard about the train thing, we will take care.

Brian,
With your sailing on the Noordam, I think you will have a great time and an awesome experience. Look forward to pics and stories.
We have also booked a shorty up the coast on the Coral Princess (may 18 sf-astoria/victoria/vancouver) Thought we might take the train home. Have you ever done that?
