One update to the above, if you are sailing on Anthem or Harmony I believe that most items on the room service menu have a charge. May also apply to other Quantum class ships.

Did it last week and also "escaped" 2 1/2 minutes "early".

 

We were able to book online, day and time. But onboard we received a message that a crew drill was scheduled for our time slot. So we had to reschedule it.

 

It´s been a lot of fun. We´ve been 12 people from all over the world.

By "book online" do you mean using the Royal IQ app or using their website? I can't seem to figure out where I can book this in the Cruise Planner?

We are platinium and thats almost the same as gold, we had this:

We were able to set a wake up call. You drag the time up or down as you need to. We have used it twice.

 

 

 

You have to be 12 to sign up I signed up online and it asked my birth year.

 

Also, there are 2 hooks on the shower wall just below the H &C levers. I did not see them at first. But great to hang bathing suits. I still miss the line.

Just got back for the Freedom this past Sunday..

My DW and I took our DD and Two grand kids-- age 3 & 10.

I booked this on the ship- RCCL charged my 10yo grandson ( ok I can live with this ) but they put us all in on corner of the dining room ( very cramped with all the people ) then only 1 character comes out and you get ( one family at a time ) go up and take two to three pictures then the next one.. After all of the kids get the picture the character leaves-changes to the second character then round two of the pictures.. The kids get to spend no time with the characters and all you get is the two.

On the web site RCCL makes it sound like all of characters will be having breakfast and romancing the dining room while you eat..

Not worth the 10.00 per person RCCL will charge you

If you think that's expensive, you should see how much Disney charges!

When is the free lobster night?

We put luggage tags on a case of water for 3 rooms. No issue on RCI as of 10.15.2016. Don't know about flavored water / juice.

What about a case of sparkling water? Do you think they'd toss that?

I believe almost everyone bought them in advance because they discounted it pre-cruise. No idea what they're going for on board and haven't seen the drink card either.

I agree, a few min isn't a huge delay, but added up across 5000-6000 passengers, it makes a difference. Which is probably why RC started doing this.

I don't go quite as far as the OP, but I do bring Clorox wipes and wipe the phone, the remote, sink handles, and doorknobs.

Interesting, did you follow their guide to the letter and still get rejected?

So, this is the warning they have on their page for uploaded photo requirements:

Please observe the following guidelines when taking or uploading your security photo:

 

-Photo must reflect your current appearance.

-Take the photo straight on, with face and shoulders centered to the camera.

-No angled views, head tilted or side profiles.

-Use a plain white or neutral off-white background.

-No hats, head coverings or sunglasses

-Hold a calm, neutral facial expression with both eyes open and clearly visible; no squinting.

-You must be the only person appearing in the photo. Please do not use an existing photo that includes other people in any way.

-If you are uploading a photo from your computer, it must be in JPEG format.

 

Additional notes for children and infants:

 

Children and infants must appear alone in the photo; parents and guardians should not be visible. Arms and hands used to support an infant should not appear in the photo.

If your photo does not meet requirements, it may have to be retaken at the pier and cause delays in your boarding process.

What if you upload a photo that isn't of a white background? Will they make us take it again at the terminal?
