  1. @AndyB I think it is awesome that you have your sister doing it with you! I don't have family near me just my son. My husband works out of town for 12 days at a time and then is home for 2 days. He is my biggest downfall to my diet as he is a late night snacker and always wants me to snack with him. I'm hoping with our new schedule that I can finally be rid of unhealthy snacking. Sounds like we have similar weight loss goals! Also Country Heat used to be a good go to for me a couple of years ago as well as the PiYo.

@Jasonmom 54 pounds and 10 months. I know it will be hard but I am motivated and determined! My goal weight is 110-120.

  2. I am new to this thread. I was at my highest weight in Feb/Mar of this year. 215! I worked hard and got down to 200 but i have gained 4 back. Right now I am stuck at 204 and have been for months. I am starting back with Beachbody on demand and the 21 day fix. I bought all of the stuff years ago and it worked great. I don't do the shakes but I will start back with counting the containers and doing the workouts. (and making sure I eat enough calories!)

Now that school is back in session it is hard to get to a gym or go workout since we home school but I am hoping these workouts work like they did years ago.

My goals are: to be under 200 for my November cruise and be under 150 for my 10 year anniversary cruise June 2020.

I look forward to getting to know everyone!

@JessandLevi Hey there and good luck. Once you get the hang of lo-carb it can be easy! Just sort of have to change your mindset. Like for lunch I had chicken baked with a wing sauce. On the side I had mashed cauliflower with a little cheese and bacon! Only 470 calories, 16g carbs,  29g fat and 41g protein.

I also do something called Intermittent Fasting. I don't eat until 12:00-12:30 each day and stop eating by 7:00pm. If the calories seem high it's because I only really eat two "meals". Lunch and then dinner around 6:30. Snacks are usually veggies if I'm dying in the afternoon. When I'm trying to lose I keep calories around 1000 per day. Maintenance it's about 1300/day.

I do intermittent fasting! I've been trying to do 18:6 but sometimes I can only make it 14-16 hours. So far I've lost 13 pounds since Feb 15th but I want change my diet to see if that helps with the weight loss. I didn't even think about mashed cauliflower. I will have to try it out! I don't track calories I just eat until I am content and not full. But carbs are my downfall lol gotta start replacing them!

  4. I think this is a GREAT idea!! I have 254 days until my 30th birthday cruise and would love to lose (a lot!!) of weight by then. I ESPECIALLY love the length of the ship idea. I have a soon to be 7 year old so hopefully I can convince him to walk with me....perhaps now that it is warming up we can kick a ball around or something.

I, too, am trying to shoot for low carb but it's been harder than I thought!

  5. HI there

    Great information on the Seaside[emoji3]

Totally understanding that she has not sailed yet and things may change.

We just booked 16037 for March 2019, got a fabulous rate for the 3 of us,

Was a no brainer and at 1/2 the price of an equivalent sailing in one of the Oasis Class ships with Star Class!

We are very interested in all the offerings of YC and the lay of the land w.r.t the services we shall be indulging in for a new experience away from RC

Do you know if there is priority boarding as in greeted and met by Concierge or Butler on embarkation day. And allowable access to stateroom ahead of normal cabin opening times.

We are getting free wifi, some OBC and Unlimited drinks.

Question on drinks, will this be exclusive to YC areas or shipwide inclusive of speciality restaurants.

Are you able to have drinks delivered to stateroom or is there a minibar setup?

We are D+ with a fair few cruises sailed in Suites, so looking forward to the YC experience and all it has to offer.

If you would be so kind to mail me the PDF doc, would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Graham

We just booked room 16037 for January 2019! We are cancelling our reservation from RCCL Symphony (we had a deck 8 Aquatheater suite) and this is almost half the price!

  6. Agree. While I would probably give it as a generic "thank you" or perhaps a Happy New Years gift, I can't see being offended. I get Hanukkah card from an old friend every year. I am not Jewish. Nor am I offended. I see it as a symbol of a friendship which has endured many decades and life events from a much beloved friend.

Wonderful point of view as so many people get so easily offended.

We have done small containers with chocolates and money tucked inside! The crew seemed appreciative!
