What's the recent cost from the RCI port to Paradise Beach?
-
For those that did a la carte...what was the cost? I've paid a deposit for AI but would rather have a la carte if available. We aren't drinkers and have a hard time justifying the cost.

Anyone know the recent fares from the port to Paradise Beach Resort in Cozumel or from port to Jaime's Blue Reef in Costa Maya?

We buy the 2 device package. Can both be connected at the same time. If we want to switch from phone to ipad then we just log off and connect the other device. Never had a problem kicking the other off....just have to log off. Easy Easy

I'm scheduled for the Rapid Result Antigen Test at CVS. That's the correct one ...right???? Just paranoid about all this. Have back plan also.

A few weeks ago I called about a price drop. The rep really messed up our reservations. Resolutions finally got it all straightened out so I'm reluctant to try again. Looks like the price has dropped again about $55 pp. I called and after about 2 hours on hold got a rep and after looking said that we would be refunded $151 to our credit card. First thing that made me leery was the amount difference. I know they see things differently on their end but he couldn't explain the numbers to me that made any sense. PLUS....this is the same way our mess started previously. Second..was that the amount was to be refunded and not as OBC. Another thing that messed up previouly. From the previously problem and everything I've read, the price drop this close to cruise date would be OBC. I was afraid this would be a big mess again so had him leave everything as is. So.............I'm coming to the experts. Shouldn't it be OBC this close in? Before I call back and speak with a different rep I want to make sure I know what the policy is.

We're in the same boat as you :). Even though Walgreens website show 3 different tests available, our's only offers the PCR and the Rapid Diagnostic ID NOW. I've read on these boards that the ID NOW is acceptable but can't fine it in writing on RCI's website. I'm still now completely comfortable.

Go for the #2. You will have results in a few hours. It is approved by RCI.
It's not available at our Walgreens. 😞

Another question 😞 Can someone direct me to a link on RCI's website about accepted tests? I thought I had it all figured out by using walgreens. We live in a small rural area it's they are really the only non-online option. But...their website lists 3 different test options. 1) PCR 2) Rapid Antigen Test - Binax NOW 3) Rapid Diagnostic Test - ID NOW. Only 2 are available at our walgreens....the PCR (which I don't trust to get results in time) and the ID NOW. I can't find anywhere on RCI's site that the ID NOW is acceptable. Only seems to list PCR and the antigen test. I need something in writing that makes me comfortable that the ID NOW is acceptable.

The CVS rapid antigen test is NOT available in our area. The information on Walgreens website state their results in about 24 hours. How long did your Walgreen results actually take? I'm trying to determine a back-up plan.

Where would you get a smoothie on Liberty?

When we were still working, having NO wifi was the best part of cruising. That was the ONLY TIME my husband could really get away from the job. We turned everything off and forgot about it. Since we've retired the internet has just become a form of entertainment. We've slowly added wifi time and now buy time for both of us.

This has all been really confusing to me too. We sail soon and Walgreens is the only place in our rural area to get tested. I called and asked about cost and was told there would be no charge. I asked about testing for travel only reasons and was again told no charge. Sooooooo, don't really know what to expect. Guess we'll see soon.

Are the internet packages ever more than 35% off? Right not the package I'm looking at is 35% off. Everyone talks about the black friday sales so didn't know if it would be any benefit to wait, or just get it now.

Testing on board (not sick or showing sypmtoms) is only for those flying out or those doing B2B...right??? If driving to and from port, only testing is the pre-test, right?? Still trying to get my ducks in a row. 🙂

Sorry this is happening. Please keep us posted.

Anyone been to Paradise Beach lately? Is it strictly All Inclusive now or can you still go a la carte?

Is there an advantage of one cabin over the other?

Have used Bodden several times and it's been great. We're looking at booking a private tour and one of the options is Havana Beach. We've not been to that beach so looking for reviews. One of the most important things is, does it have plenty of shade? Trees? Umbrellas? Thanks

We're really not comfortable doing the home testing. So..I'm thinking about making a testing appointment for friday morning (for sunday cruise) and having a backup appointment for that afternoon. We're rural and our CVS doesn't do the rapid antigen test. We'd need to get the am test done at our Walgreens and then (if test is cancelled) travel a little over an hour for to CVS. I thought this was a pretty good plan, until. I've been reading that the Walgreens ID Now test can take up to 72 hours. For those of you that have used Walgreens, what is the longest you've waited on results?
Another question....What is the latest we can be tested for a sunday cruise? We'll be driving to port the saturday before and could possibly make a testing apppointment for saturday afternoon where we'll be spending the night.

We’re in a rural area. Neither CVS or Walgreens do the rapid antigen test. Walgreens does the Rapid ID NOW test. From what I understand from RCI’s website is that the ID NOW is accepted if a formal form is issued (no notes). Has anyone used the NOW test? Any problems with RCI?

It will show up in your cruise planner. The OBC from TA will only show up onboard.
Thank you!

Just had a price drop but since we'd already paid in full we received OBC. Rep said it could take up to 2 weeks to see it posted. Is there anywhere online I can check on this? I'd like to cancel our paid gratuities and internet and re-purchase using the obc but don't want to cancel them before the obc shows up.

Just to expand a little. If you decide to go ahead and book him with your friend and your cabin gets changed, not only will you lose the cabin you wanted but he'd have to stay in her cabin. There would be no place for him in your new cabin.

I see that some events are divided into (E) for everyone and (V) for vaccinated. If we go to the Ice Show (V), does that mean when we get seated we can remove our masks? Also, at the Headliner and Production shows, if we sit in the (V) area can we remove masks?
