We’re currently on the Edge, produced negative antigen tests as well as our CDC cards before boarding. However, the same protocol was applied to passengers on the Equinox today, but they were also issued tracelets. The reason why we didn’t get tracelets is supposedly because the Edge has facial recognition technology while the Equinox doesn’t. Just curious, were you folks issued tracelets when you boarded the Millennium?

It's likely because you sailed out of Florida.

  2. 2B cabins should not be obscured.  2D are obscured and 2C are "partially obscured".  From deck 7, you may see the lifeboats if you are looking down but I don't believe you will have any obscurity looking out over the ocean.   There is a "S class" cabin information thread here where you can look up the cabin number:

Thank you for your correction.  They are sailing about the Mediterranean.  Am sure you understood my point that porting in Athens weekly doesn't suggest a resumption of cruising any more than the many ships that make calls in Florida now.

I know to what you are referring.   It would seem unlikely that X would sail Apex all the way to Greece from the Caribbean just to float around empty when they could easily stay put and do the same.   To me it indicates a plan to restart cruising in the med and Greece is a welcoming host.

  4. Just an update, after contacting my TA, they suggested I email X about my FCC.  I did and after a number of days without a response (not surprised), I called the Captain's Club.  They looked into it, determined that the original FCC was wrong, the second FCC was wrong and now I have a 3rd number which is still about $750 below what it should be.  She then said that she can't discuss financials and to contact the TA.  I have reached out to the TA and have not heard anything back yet.

  5. A lot can happen in 3 months.  Three months ago there were no vaccines being administered and now TX has lifted all restrictions!  Ha!

If I was too concerned about my well being, losing $100 from canceling would be the least of my concerns.

Frankly it doesn't matter to me if they sail or not, I will either be on Apex in August or I won't.  I am humbled by my privilege to even think about going on vacation in these times!

I have a July 30, 2021 British Isles out of Amsterdam on Celebrity final payment is due May 1st.

    Reflection is still in Barbados.

Celebrity needs to cancel this cruise before final otherwise it will definitely show they just want $$.

Cancelling is the right thing to do for their passengers....If they don't I will have to figure out some way to get my NRD back and more than likely won't sail with them again. At this point an FCC or L/S won't work with their sail by dates for me.

    Why don't you just cancel?

  7. I am interested to see how the RCL Israel cruises work out with fully vaccinated staff and passengers.   Spain and Greece both have indicated opening for summer tourism so I can see some cruising resuming unless there are serious problems with these first cruises.  I have a late August Apex cruise booked leaving Barcelona with a Greece heavy itinerary.   I suspect that is why these cruises were not canceled and others were that had stops in countries that are unlikely to reopen in time.
