They'll be fine. They are old enough, they should nderstand your desire to have some time to yourself. Have fun. Cruising sans kids is fantastic.

Yes we sat in the lounge till about 12:30 and finally started to get checked in and our cards. Then Finally got on board a bit after that.
Yes thank you I know the order. I was married on board a ship.

Being married on a ship has nothing to do with anything.

You can. You should get a card or something saying something about you being in transit. And yes to your second question as well.

Maybe, maybe not. Be a bit patient. For the record, cruise line excursions are way overpriced and typically not worth the extra money versus going with an independent tour.

We are thinking about trying the Steakhouse on the first night of our upcoming cruise. I'm wondering if we "need" to make an advance reservation for the first night - or are we likely to be able to walk up when we are ready to eat and be seated relatively quickly? We aren't 100% sure we will eat there, nor are we sure exactly what time we will want to eat. Since they offer specials if you dine there the first night (1/2 off a bottle of wine, I believe?), I'm guessing that it usually isn't that busy on the first night, but I wasn't sure if we needed a reservation ahead of time if we ended up wanting to eat there. This is on the Liberty, a 3-day cruise out of Port Canaveral, leaving at 4:00pm. Thanks for any tips!
My cruise next week is booked the first two nights.

It's a shame no one's answered, I'm sailing this Saturday and was wondering the same.
Probably because there is no such thing as dailies on Carnival.

Someone pointed this out in a group on the social media site that shall not be named, but you may now use gift cards to pre-purchase items online in The Fun Shops. I successfully bought Bottomless Bubbles with a gift card last night, so I presume this will work with Cheers! as well.

Probably the John Heald page on Facebook. It's not a big deal. Cruise critic is not the only cruising website on the internet.

I disagree, but that's OK.
I'm glad you are okay with me having a different opinion than you. What a world we live in!

No PVP is worth the $200-300 I save per cruise by booking elsewhere.

This isn't another dreaded question. This is a question that I'd asked almost daily.

I've been on the breeze. I also have asthma. No issues with the smoke

No and they are a pain in the a..
Careful now. If there is one thing people love here more than tablecloths, it's their PVP.

Ok so at first I thought big deal wait a couple of minutes and a table will open up. Then. I thought about my daughter who has 4 soon to be 5 children. I know they would never take a cruise, but if they did, can you imagine standing holding meals while waiting for a table because someone has chosen there to play cards. So, I guess my final opinion is move the card game elsewhere. Someone may truly need the table.
Just because your daughter has a small army doesn't make her need for a table greater than anyone else's. She could go eat in the MDR. She doesn't need a table on Lido and shouldn't expect people to accommodate her simply because she has children.

We found Princess kind of how Carnival used to be.
Still give you production shows' date=' desserts in DR made by MD, much better buffet and a lot more so to us Princess is worth more than Carnival.[/quote']
It isn't the job of a maitre d to make desserts.

Is there really no need to reserve ahead of time, and is there anything cheaper than $20/ day?
Can't reserve ahead of time. And there are cheaper, private lots with shuttles. Reviews are mixed. It is Miami after all.

Yes, that is correct. I only saw a few people in there area that did not have wrist bands and they were asked to leave.
Thanks for confirming. 16 days until 22 days.
