You can expect the room will have a Bose Soundlink mini II audio player (or more modern equiv). HAL only promises those in writing for a Neptune room, but the Spa Verandah rooms seem to also get them. Use Bluetooth to connect. They do not have a dock at all.

However, as you have stopped at other Canadian ports, chances are good you will do nothing at all.
The best case scenario is you have to do nothing, you simply treat it as another port stop. This is common in most non-US ports.
I have done B2B in Boston and in Fort Lauderdale with little complication, similar to what you can expect in Montreal. To me, the key is to recognize if you are already in the same nation while onboard. USA onboard at a USA port makes it simpler, like spend 20 minutes off the ship, remaining in a hallway just off the gangway.
But in 2023 I did B2B in Vancouver. You are in USA while onboard and must clear Canada customs, then you are in unsecure zone of Canada Place. You go back thru security, US customs and are waiting just like all the new folks arriving to board.
For Montreal you are “in Canada” while onboard, so expect a simpler procedure. Watch your instructions to see if you get a special card allowing you to proceed thru the crew lines in terminal.

I had my TA call and I got moved to 10021
If you want the same on Pinnacle class, the Inside rooms with windows are 11057 and 11058. I had 11058 on Nieuw Statendam.
Crows Nest is only one deck higher on NS, as I recall.

And for dessert we both had….
you guessed it - the peach crisp.
Peach crisp, my favourite for a long time, until one meal when I tried the Strawberry/Rhubarb crisp.

In July 2023, we tendered on the morning arrival at Ketchikan. After the departure of a Princess ship mid-day, the Koningsdam moved in and docked. Read the itinerary details precisely to see if this might be the plan.

Sorry. I was referring to this space showing between 7143 or 7134 before the last aft cabins of 7154 or 7142. Looks a bit different than the screenshots that you are all so much helping me to understand.
Rooms 7151 and 7142 are Neptunes, taking up that entire space at the corners. I expect my reply is a duplicate.

I had the equivalent aft view room on deck 7 Koningsdam, and saw how the extra door would work. But never used it.

That blank space is where the two rooms have a third door available. If the corner suite and the adjacent aft view verandah room are in a group, they can activate the third door and the two inner doors will allow them to act as one room. Of course, the swinging door on the balcony can also allow them to work as one.

We plan to enjoy and hope we don’t create too much havoc on board 😂 We will do our best to behave 😂
Try not to break the ship. I am booked for the Boston - Greenland - Iceland round trip in July.

I know it is not really significant, but I love the glass elevators on Vista (Noordam) and Signature class. I have to agree with other posts, for Alaska, the itinerary is big in the decision.

We did just the gold panning part in 2022. It is about a 20 minute drive to Gold Creek; ours was in a mini-bus. The driver parks in a dirt/gravel area and you have a short walk down to the creek. Just dirt, grass, gravel. Nothing major to walk through. The actual panning is creek-side and will be muddy.
I did this in July 2023 and it matched the description and photos. I would say the distance to walk was less than 100 meters (or 100 yards, your choice). Maybe even half that.

As Crystal stated above, the HAL Deck Plan shows that 7006 is rated for two passengers. Note the circle on 7010 which indicates support for three passengers. I hope the image uploads.

Might the outside access mean no privacy/be noisy/busy with the sliding door open?
I had a Lanai room on the Maasdam. The sliding door to the promenade area had a powerful force closing it. You will not be able to leave that door open.

One more item I recall, there was a small table for drinks on the verandah. And those on deck 11 are fully open to the sky, no cover above. It takes a couple minutes for your brain to absorb that difference from other decks.

For the music player, HAL does not list any officially in Spa Veranda, but they seem to be present. A few years ago in Eurodam, my player was Bose and worked via Bluetooth. No cable problems.

But I suspect that more and more passengers find out about these areas and then they tell two people, who tell two people, etc...
And soon afterwards, you notice that Kevin Bacon is standing next to you, enjoying the deck view. (Six Degrees of Bacon)

Today, I do see the PDF links on the "My Cruise History" tab. Most do download, except for the second half of a B2B voyage, as someone mentioned earlier.
However, I cannot download the PDF for my 2017 Trans-Atlantic on the Rotterdam, same problem as in the Navigator app. Not a big deal to be missing that one, which i do have in paper form.
Portland, Maine in 2025

I just noticed that HAL has no visits to Bar Harbor in summer 2025. The nearby stop listed is Portland, Maine.
