  1. Received an email from MSC today as well. Was originally a 7-nt cruise departing from Jeddah on Saturday April 1st and now leaving 3 days earlier on Wednesday, March 29th but still 7-nts. As with others, Al Wajh, Saudi Arabia has been replaced with Sokhna, Egypt for Cairo. Since this means Cairo excursions, I'm good with this change!
  2. Delta should accept checked luggage anytime day of flight for a domestic flight. Later this month I'll be checking-in around Noon for an 8:45pm BOS-MCO flight. Be aware that if Delta has an earlier flight to your destination, your bags might fly before you do. The Delta luggage office at your destination airport will take unclaimed luggage off the belt and store it near their office.
  3. Well, those are two favorable reviews.....from you. Yeah, you had complaints too but I was recently on two RCI cruises and one MSC cruise and they weren't perfect either. Let's accept it for what it is.
  4. Yes, they are sailing. The initial reviews are overall favorable. Their website shows some great prices, even better if you can go during the week vs weekend dates.
  5. There is a place nearby the resort where you can rent golf carts for the day for $50-$60. You can then drive up and down the King's Highway into Alice Town. Eat lunch one of the local hole-in-the-wall beach shacks, buy some Bimini bread in a local bakery, visit a local souvenir stand, etc.
  6. I don't find Travelocity, Expedia and Orbitz to display as many airlines as Google. Try: www.google.com/flights It's so easy to flip city pairs, change dates and do open jaws (if you want to fly into one city and fly back from another). Also, check fares from NYC because sometimes it's cheaper to buy a transatlantic fare from NYC where there is more competition and add on a separate IAH-NYC fare.
  7. I've never seen them offer airfare in North America. I understand that they might offer it on some of their European websites but have not looked for it. You'd be better off looking for fares on Google Flights to see what's out there.
  8. Melbourne now has daily flights to the UK on one or more jumbo jets and they depart late afternoon or early evening. So the airport ain't as quiet as it used to be. While you would not be flying on their airline (TUI Airways), you do have to share TSA security with them. If you have TSA Precheck, no problem since none of the Brits will.
  9. If they can carry their bags off the ship during the early self-disembarkation, and if they have transportation to MCO awaiting them, they can get to the airport in about 35 minutes. They should have all their boarding passes printed out. If you're checking luggage to your airline, that starts to eat-up time. But the biggest problem are the security lines. Assuming everyone does not have TSA-Precheck, the biggest time risk is getting through security. Some lines lately have had 2 hour waits to get through.
  10. Thanks for the review. Isn't there also a 110 outlet and did it work?
