Nothing in Azores is really jumping out at me. I might just wing it. Sete cuidades looks the most interesting I may do that if I do anything. It is very weather dependent though and the forecast is calling for clouds and a 90% chance of rain.

That's what I would like to do at least once a year. I tried to make Glory work but I couldn't find anything that ended in Barcelona in time. One HAL ship came close but requires disembarking a day early and traveling from one port in Spain to another. In the end I decided against it. Royal has a pair of TAs in November 2024 that I'm also eyeing but I really want to do the Panorama transpacifc during that time if I can make the costs work.

Those dark clouds are getting more ominous. Heading to the room to make some plans for the Azores while I've got some down time.

She is doing good. Her mood was souring but seems to be improving again. She's not super outgoing but has befriended a number of crew which is always easy to do on an extended trip and talked to a number of fellow passengers we've met along the way. Health wise she's doing OK with getting around without too much pain but does not think she will likely be able to do much sightseeing unfortunately. Her short walk in Bermuda wore her out.

Current situation: enjoying a mango daiquiri above the Lido deck. A couple dark clouds in the sky but overall another beautiful day out.

A few lunchtime choices before the masses arrived.

Lunch was from the buffet today.

Came so close on ducks. Was only one behind yesterday after a good haul the day before. Then nothing while she found two. Today was another good haul and I found five ducks! 18-16 in my favor!! Nobody's tagging them anymore it seems. Off to lunch now.

I noticed you referred to the aft pool area as Serenity. Was that an accident or did you not locate the Serenity area? It's much much larger than that area, although it does not have a pool.

Today's activities

Two miles down, two to go. Cooling off with a coffee.

Heading up to start my walk. No walk with Andy today so I am on my own for motivation.

Skillet cake, cheese grits, and ceaser salad with salmon 1110.

Table ready at 1056.

Checked in for brunch at 1039 with a 10-20 minute wait.

Scale says I lost 4.4 lbs since Sunday. I would like to believe that but it is probably not accurate with the movement of the ship. I've logged it with the knowledge it will likely jump later. Steps:
