The schedule is dead right now. There is literally nothing happening. I think something is starting at 615 in grand central but I'm not sure since it lasts a couple hours. Comedy at 645 so really I need to probably leave at 615 to sit another half hour waiting on Comedy. I may wait a few minutes and hope I can still get in because I really need something to do besides sit around.

I enjoyed my lunch and will definitely be hitting that a few times on the next leg of my cruise. After that we did a little walking checking things out one last time (for her).

We finally made it to emril's a little after 4. The menu. Shrimp and oyster po boy. Lemon ice box pie.

There is only one drawing today and it is at the same time as the VIFP party which is annoying. I guess I will skip the party since they don't serve snacks or offer drinks (a glass of wine is offered). I still haven't made it to emril's I'm going to have to order light because we have the steakhouse at 8.

I think we are going to do emril's for lunch today.

While M was getting ready I grabbed a quick snack from street eats. The flavors were good but again the problem was the meat. Quality wise it was one level below table scrap. I ate around the meat and it was delicious. Carbonara fries. Fries were very good.

At the rate we are going we may not make it out of the room until the next leg 😅.

Good morning everyone. Today is the last day before I start my solo adventure. I enjoy cruising with my friend but I'm definitely looking forward to my solo trip. I feel like I haven't even begun to explore anything the ship has to offer. I will do my best to right that wrong over the coming 8 days.

Turned my $1025 funplay into $922 real money. Not going to play tomorrow so leaving this leg of the trip up almost $890. Results not typical. Back in the room now while M closes down the casino again. Going to bed now. Good night everyone.

Rounding out the food pics I haven't posted is a couple from the Deco Deli on night one. First is the grilled steak sandwich. This sandwich was amazing. The meat was hot and so juicy it was dripping onto my plate. Definitely try this sandwich. I also grabbed a turkey sandwich for a late night snack. I was looking forward to trying this because it's been pulled off the deli menu on other ships and it was one of my favorites. Unfortunate it lived in my fridge for too long and I ended up tossing it. This is because the late night pizza line issue has not been a problem one time. Even when the line was long, it moved quickly.

The mains were not good but the rest of the meal was. It was also very quiet, I guess most people are using the alternative restaurants for dinner. I don't plan to return here just because I want to try out the other new options instead of the same dinner menu I get on every cruise. I'll post the menus each night next cruise for reference.

The other dinner I didn't post was from night 3. That night we went to the mdr. I didn't have high hopes for the service after the first two nights. I was pleasantly surprised. It was cold, but efficient at least. Quick turnaround on courses and attentive service. Spring rolls to start. Pork slider. Wienersnitzel. This was not good tonight. It's usually good but was bland tonight. Stuffed mushrooms. Thiphotos.to be so good when it came in a white cream sauce. This was just odd tasting. Wcmc for dessert.

Both cucina dinners were good. Service could use some improvement. Portions are much smaller than they would be at the pay version. You may need to order accordingly. The atmosphere is much nicer than chibang with more private nooks and it's not so loud for whatever reason.

Dinner tonight started off the same. We sat and sat and sat waiting for a server. Once he did arrive, this guy at least had some personality and appeared to be trying. Nonnas meatball again. Arancini. These were great. Veal marsala. Excellent. Pasta carbonara. Tiramisu.

Service at dinner at chibang had not been good. This was actually worse. It took about 15 minutes before a server ever showed up and then it was because we flagged him down. He seemed bothered by our presence and had zero personality. The food was mostly good and we lucked into a nice private booth. Nonnas meatball. Delicious even if Nonna is not generous with her portions. Cured tuna. Good but cut way too thin. Short ribs. This was too dry. Turns out it is supposed to come with a sauce that I did not get. It needs that sauce. Pasta carbonara. Ordered a half portion but it's the same size I got today. I think that is because all the portions are half sized already. Fried potatoes. Not what I was expecting but they were good. Lemon frozen torte for dessert. I did not care for dessert.

Dinner tonight was at cucina. Before I post tonight's let's rewind to night 2 and talk about that dinner at cucina. Menu.

My name kept rolling by and finally I got drawn. I got to play Matilda the cash cow. Rolled a 6 which is the best you can do. Got to pick 6 spots and won $525 fun play!!!

Now M wants to do dinner instead of comedy first. Shouldn't have eaten that sandwich. We ended up with steakhouse comps afterall so we are not doing emril's tonight but instead making a return to cucina.

Gift from the casino - a travel quillow. They also sent what I think was a beach chair.

Time to hit the gym.

Tried to lay down for a nap but didn't really sleep. Doing dinner late tonight and I'm already hungry again somehow. I stopped into Javablue which I think a lot of people forget has food. I got a chicken amd cheddar sandwich. Fantastic. I've got to try to stop in here more often and try the offerings they look pretty good.

I promise to never complain that I don't even see my name in the list of names for these drawings again. I've seen it just barely roll past my name 4 times now.

M was awake so no nap for me. We went put to grab her some lunch. I saw food so I had to eat too. Super loaded fries. Chicken satay. The fries were very good. The chicken was inedible chewey weird meat. I ate the rice and it was pretty good but the chicken was a no go.

Current sea conditions. It is not rolling as bad now but for sure a good amount of swaying going on. It reminds me of Sunshine. Always rocking even when the water is calm. It's not unpleasant and I have only taken medication once, but it is noticeable.
