Niether does M. But I will have 8 days without her to go again 😁 Across many ships since the restart I have had a number of them not offer PM or offer and them just come whenever anyway. It makes me think the directive is coming from carnival not a ship specific thing. We are going to speak to guest services and see if evening service is an option because this is not working. The cleaning standards are not there either, I'm not sure if he is in general not good at his job or if he is in such a rush to get done but it is not working out.

The weather was gorgeous for a nice stroll around San Juan. It is usually miserablely hot but not today. We stopped in a few shops and a restaurant. I didn't eat since I ate already but I wish I had I'm pretty hungry right now. Doing teppenyaki tonight so I will be glad I resisted the urge to chow down.

I'm getting a lot of attitude from Stewart. I don't appreciate feeling like I am an inconvenience for staying in my room all morning. Evening service is not an option he does not do that. Great, enjoy hanging out all day waiting for us to leave then. I am a very go with the flow type of person and I have never felt this dissatisfied with the service from Stuart. I may need to escalate but I don't think it is going to do anything but make everyone walk on pins and needles around me. That's not what I want. I want the quality friendly service I used to receive.

I really enjoyed the food. The portions were smaller than I expected but I certainly didn't leave hungry. But the service was not even close to ok. It wasn't even just how slow it was, everyone just seemed completely disinterested in being there. It was very surreal. I will definitely be back, but for the food not the warm service 😅

I also had some Gelato. The salted caramel was very good. I will be on the lookout for that again. Trying to eat light because I have big dinner plans tonight.

Good afternoon. I thought I was going to have to buy a charger but in the daytime I was able to get it working. Its definitely on its last leg and San Juan would be the best place to restock but I think I'm gonna try to wait till I get home. Going to grab a quick bite to eat and head into town.

We stayed at the club till 130 then moved back to the casino until it closed at three. Grabbed some pizza (none for me I gotta Kay off the late night munching) and finished the night with some on demand movies. Going to bed now. Tomorrow is San Juan. Good night everyone.

Thought I would do some catching up but M had a casino crisis AKA she is getting beat up on pretty bad. We are going to check out the club now.

The portions were small but the food was all very very good. The service and atmosphere were terrible. I don't use that word to describe service very often but this was just not even close to up to the standards I've come to expect from carnival. None of the staff had personality and honestly seemed miserable.

I ordered entirely off the Asian side. Pork belly. This was very good and I enjoyed the sauce although the jiji's sauce wins hands down. Spring rolls. Also very good but not a fan of the sauce. Kung poa chicken with hakka noodles. That chicken was so spicy I was in tears! I did ask for extra spicy and they delivered. One of my favorite dishes in a very long time. For dessert I had the chocolate c bang. Delicious.

I'm falling behind on my dinner reports. Let's start with night one. First night we did Chibang. Dinner menu:

Had trouble getting checked in said to see hostess. I get to her and my phone alerts me my table is ready 😆. Grabbing a drink real quick next door then going back to the mdr for dinner.

They have chicken tenders.

Nice! Had this waiting on my bed and didn't even have to ask for it.

Karaoke just started up inside Havana. There went my peaceful vibe 😒

Moved to the Havana outside area. I am in Havana but don't have my wristband but there is no other soul out here sp I should be ok. There is a nice breeze and the waves gently breaking on the ship is creating a lovely relaxing vibe. Perfect.

Not really feeling the casino so I took my drink to go. No music anywhere yet but latitudes bar and the seats are just not comfortable at all. Moved upstairs above emrils's and I want it to work but the overhead music is still on and competing with the live music. I would settle for just a quiet spot to sit but I don't think a place exists like that here.

Joining M in the casino. She said she wanted to take it easy after the bloodshed last night. Hopefully she is doing better today.

Yw. It is good definitely try it but in the world of chicken sandwiches.....well there are a number of them that are better. This is best at sea though and better than coco cay chicken sandwich that also gets high marks.

Gonna go check out the sauna for a little while and then hit the gym.

Stewart really doesn't want to do pm service. It was at least 2pm before we left the room and we came back to a serviced room. Feels rushed, toilet seat up and my empty coffee cup I forgot throw away is still on the nightstand. Hope he enjoys his night off.

The food options are never ending!

So a couple thoughts on big chicken. I've not really read much about the line at big chicken. It's long everytime I walk by. It also doesn't move fast. I get the that we are in that weird time where not much is open and everyone just got back but the deli line was much shorter and has usually been pretty short everytime I walk by. Then there is the chicken. I see people compare it to chick fil-a. No, not even close imo. It's good but honestly no better than an average good quality chicken sandwich. Finally, not to be too graphic but M and I both had an "immediate negative reaction" to something we ate. Negative isn't even the word, let's go with "explosive."
