We have done ship's tours in St. Thomas.

-
That is a light day. Last time we were there there were 6 ships in!
-
We went to Harbour Lights on Carlisle Beach and enjoyed the beach club.
-
It is best to e-mail The Melia for the present cost.
-
Due to the ferries to get to the Blue Lagoon, we took the ship's excursion.
That way we got back in time.
-
The Melia has a good beach area and good pools. We have been there many times. (When it was a Sheraton too.)
-
There are many free areas - the casino, the shopping village, and of course the walk around the yachts.
Check on the pricing of the Dig- by e-mailing.

Thank you for the report on Palm Beach. We have been there many times
and often stay near Gilligan's for food and shelter.
-
We have been to The Melia several times- even when it was The Sheraton. We enjoyed the beach, pools, and
general atmosphere.

We always stay at the HIEx due to the location and walking to restaurants and stores.
The Embassy Suites is not far and good for lunch by the pool.
-
We have always found something interesting to do in Nassau. Last time we did
the Dolphin Encounter at the Blue Lagoon and had a great time. Have done
lots of excursions in Nassau- most on our own.

Hi- An inexpensive excursion is to Ardastra Gardens and Zoo. See website for details.
-
Thanks for the review and good photos.
We were at Blue Bay and had a similar experience.
However, we went on a ship's excursion.
-
We stayed overnight in Nassau due to the weather at Coco Cay.
We went to the Blue Lagoon during the day, through the ship, and stayed on the ship at night.
-
There were no restrooms at Cabbage Beach itself.
Is that still the case?
-
Your ship might have an excursion which includes the Aloe Factory.
We did at 3 hour bus trip for $40 and saw 2/3 of the island, including
a stop at the Aloe Factory.
-
The ship usually provides transport to the ferry.
We did the Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon and thought it was good.
Call the Excursion desk for more information. They should have answers.
-
Thanks for the review. We were there before the storm and it was better.
-
Hyatt Place is in a good location.
-
No need to book an excursion there. Just take a taxi into town and walk around. It is a small island.

Thank you for the review of the Balata Gardens.
We took a cruise excursion (from HAL) which
took us to St. Pierre, through the rain forest,
to Balata Gardens, and then to Balata Church.
It was well worth the price and we had plenty
of time at the gardens.

We did the Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon and had plenty of time at the beach.

We get a van taxi for $5 per person if you wait until its full.
Otherwise it is a short ride to the Hilton.
