The programme was ok but it seemed a bit short. As for the ship it's a little bit glitzy for me. The chap behind reception would be a pain :eek:

when being served in a busy bar make sure you get the right cruise card back

myself & two other passengers had to grab the waiter who had served us

to get our card back ,he had about 20 cards on his tray. this was in brodies bar on

xmas eve.have a great cruise

I am more of a stand at the bar sort of man but in this instance I will be in mixed company so will be sitting at a table. :)

All bars waiter service. Each drink / round of drinks your cruise card is swiped and you sign receipt for drinks and you keep a paper copy of drinks purchased.

Quick question from a newbie. Are the bars on board Britannia waiter serviced or do you order drinks from the bar. Also do they run up a bill for the evening and then settling up or is each individual round put on your cruise card.

It matters not either way but just curious :)

Hi everyone

I've been a lurker for the past few weeks while I have been deciding which board to join. I can't be bothered to join them all so settled for what I regard as the best. My first ever cruise will be coming up in the next few weeks on the Britannia out of Southampton so there may be a few questions but to be honest I have already learned a great deal by going through over 100 pages of the P&O forum :)

Anyway I'm here at last and pleased to be aboard:rolleyes:
