  1. I don't think it's a good idea to post your booking number, sail date and cabin on a public website. If that is a past cruise, never mind... assumed a sail date of 5 August, 2017.

Good point! I said the same to somebody e else the other day. I'd missed they were at the top of the pic as I was doing it on my phone! I'll remove

  2. I can't take a screen print and I'm not sure they publish it. For the all inclusive restaurant and bar (equiv to Aurea) it's £140 per adult and £63 children. For the Deluxe ( which includes premium drinks etc) it's £273 for adults and £112 for children. This is what's quoted for our 7 day cruise. There is also a meal time only package at £91 for adults and £49 for children

  3. Are you sure the cabin isn't showing? it says its been assigned. If you click on details there will be a bar that says Booking Details and another bar that says Payment Details. Next the booking details bar is a little arrow head. Click on that and it should expand. That is where we see our cabin number and any additional extras that we have booked.

  4. Morgsmom there is no limit on the number of drinks or the restaurants ( except speciality ones ) just the times you can have drinks. I'm guessing that when you order a drink they swipe your key card or bracelet which they use to determine if it's part of the package or not (and charge accordingly ).

  6. When you log on to your booking you can book cirque through the customise option. Select food and beverages and keep clicking on more at the bottom until you see cirque. With dinner it's £27 pp uk and with cocktail it's £12pp. You need to book the specific day and time when you get on the ship OR contact msc reservation / your TA who might be able to do it.

  7. It's working perfectly for me at the moment pre-cruise. It has my correct itinerary and booking info. I've been able to checkin and correct details. We'll see how it works once onboard

  8. Thank you Luigi again. For those wanting to get even more reviews/feedback (good and bad) there is an FB group that has quite a lot of feedback from people who have been or are on board at the moment. It's called MSC Meraviglia Cruisers Forum.

We're 18 days out now before we go and our tickets have just come through this week. Self check in has been completed on the app and I think we're all raring to go. I will most definitely attempt to do the same a the people here, posting impressions, photos and given enough data some video.

  9. Doesn't sound good Luigi and has certainly made me reassess my expectations for when we go. That said I'll hold judgement until I've been myself. As much as it's easy to focus on the bad things it's sounds like there is plenty that's good too.

I'm a glass half full type of person and I suspect that MSC will take action as their investment is huge and I suspect they can't afford a constant stream of reviews like this. Many of these thing sound like Issues that should be straight forward to rectify and when all is said and done this is the 7th week of cruising for this ship?

Thanks again though for your review it's been good to hear your experiences.

  10. You need to hunt down menus from your ship which will undoubtedly be on other threads. It's possible to upgrade but having discussed this on Meraviglia threads it's expensive and all in a the cabin have to upgrade.

If you log on to your booking online it broadly tells you what's included. Typically it's a draught lager ( Heineken) a draught Ale, 2 white, 2 red and a rosa wine by the glass, cocktails, spirits, soft drinks, ice cream, coffees etc. If you find any menus just look for those drinks without an asterisk next to them they are included in your package.

  11. [emoji15][emoji15]obviously I didn't ask why I got the credit but there was no explanation either so I presumed it was due to the Aurea restaurant debarkle! The only thing was we couldn't get off the ship without first settling the bill.

Most other cruise lines just bill the card you embarked with! X

Kikki just interested to know whether you logged a debit or a credit card against your account? I read somewhere on MSC site that they auto bill credit cards but not debit cards.

  12. Kikki, just to say a really big thank you for the time and effort you've spent during your holiday posting your review and answering all the questions. Whilst I have a few more concerns than I did prior to you going at least my expectations won't be too high!

Looking forward to more reviews over the next couple of weeks and hopefully some improvement particularly in the the MDRs.

Hopefully MSC are watching these threads.
