Hello All,

For all of you that do not know me, my name is, @CruisingKat on Periscope.

In the past, Geeocacher has posted this list on CC, but he is having some issues with being able to connect from his work computer.

I am willing to lend a hand, and post my List for everyone, on CC.

First off a disclaimer and information slab of text.

 

I'm not much in the way of a writer/reviewer. My options are just that, mine. I try to stick with factual information and avoid confrontational topics. So don't expect to hear such items of discussion such as the estimated percentage of number of people wearing shorts in the MDR on Formal night or ratio of pepper grinders to tables.

 

I'll do my best to report back things like cost of the drink packages and if any discounts are being offered to Diamonds and above.

 

Like I did earlier this year, on Allure, I'll do my best to provide pictures upon request. Don't be upset if I'm unable to get something I'm comfortable with.

I really enjoy it when content get partly driven by the community.

 

Finally, I'm trying to enter the world of live video. So give me some time to figure out the best method. For personal reasons, I'm not going the route of Facebook Live.

Right now I'm looking at YouTube Live and Periscope.

Worst case, I'll record things and upload it to YouTube.

 

That is it for now. I'm currently on RedCoach heading from Tallahassee to Orlando.

We'll be on Harmony of the Seas in just 2 short weeks with hopes to make a fun music video!

 

If y'all wouldn't giving some feedback about our Radiance video and letting us know what you like about it. The music? The ship features? The inclusion of staff? Give as little or as much as you like. It's all appreciated.

For those, that did not catch York's Fabulous periscope earlier.

While York was Periscoping, they were conducting Training, with the Codes, and Ship's Horn

York stood in the perfect area, to hear all that took place, RIGHT BY THE SPEAKER!!! [emoji39]

Announcement was overheard on the Scope, "Deck seven, midship stairs, closed down".

So we were thinking of a Distress Call, that could be used for that scenario, in why the Stairs were closed down.

Here ya go York. RE: the Question I asked, in your Periscope Eariler. [emoji6][emoji106]

Alpha, Alpha, Alpha is the code for Medical Emergency aboard Royal Caribbean ships.

Bravo, Bravo, Bravo, used by many cruise lines to alert crew to a fire or other serious incident on board without alarming passengers.

Charlie, Charlie, Charlie is the code for a security threat aboard Royal Caribbean ships.

Delta, Delta, Delta is the code for a possible bio-hazard among some cruise lines.

Echo, Echo, Echo is the code for a possible collision with another ship or the shore aboard Royal Caribbean ships. On board some cruise lines this means danger of high winds while at port. It alerts the crew responsible for the gangway, thrusters etc... to get into position and be ready for new maneuvers.

Oscar, Oscar, Oscar is the code for Man Overboard aboard Royal Caribbean ships.

Zulu, Zulu, Zulu is the code for a fight aboard most cruise lines.

AND a video example, of Echo Echo Echo, being used.

For anyone that just watched that bizarre periscope that I just did, here is the portable squatty potty fully inflated.

 

When you are using it you pull it out in front.

 

When you are "done", you just slide it underneath. ]
