It includes $12 drinks. Many are exaggerating the impact. That said, wine drinkers seem to have a legit beef, not many wines fall under the $12 threshold.

I was disappointed with the lack of unicorns.

On the pool deck, summer '15, smoking was on the starboard side. In summer '16, it was port.

A temporary bar with a limited selection of beer/wine/cocktails.

Over the summer PC was open in the 11:45-12 range.

On Indy last month walk around service seemed spotty, but there were a handful of 'pop-up' bars set up on decks 11 and 12.

Thx, I'll do that, it was my first RCI cruise (and my previous cruise experiences were 15+ years ago) so it's all new to me & I just assumed they gave me the right # of points!

I have contacted C&A about this a few times using the link below. They usually make the adjustment in a few days.

I don't think it would fall within "shoplifting" as they extended credit to you during the cruise. You don't get taken to jail when you fail to pay your credit card. I would think they have to let you go right away and you just end up in collections.

Walking out of shop/restaurant/ship without paying is not the same as not paying your credit card bill.

CruiseLifeRick in our cruise thread said that he confirmed with a buddy that works onboard that drink prices have increased, but that so far nobody has been charged incremental costs for drinks.

This is a shame if true. A whole lot of complaining will have been wasted.

Indy was 6 a couple of weeks ago, Grandeur 5:30 this past summer.

2pm and 4pm on my recent sailing.

The Trio is part of the Pimento (pretty sure) menu. Someone in our group asked for just the cake and our waiter brought out a plate full.

Just did mine from Indy last week. Scale was 10. The 1-10 questions were pretty basic, the only 2 things I can think of that called for free text answers were asking about the shows/parties and the standard 'what/who was exceptional'.

Also, zero pressure from any staff to give 10s, just a couple of quick reminders to fill out the survey by the head waiter and one of the bartenders.

Off Indy last Monday. Our group of 8 had dinner all 4 nights in the MDR. Only complaint was when ordering the strip at any temp over mid rare it became tough. Some of the highlights were....

Starters: Scallop Gratin, Lobster Bisque, French Onion Soup, Sea Scallops and Chorizo, Chilled Banana and Rum Soup, Caprese Salad, Arancini

Mains: Pork Chop, Prime Rib, Corvina, Beef Tenderloin, Lamb Shank, Lasagna, Chicken Marsala

Some of the group also did the MDR for breakfast twice, lunch once. Breakfast was simple but good. There were a couple of rotating items each day and a buffet was available. I got the Eggs Benedict both times and enjoyed it. Others got French Toast and Omelets, and said they were good. We did lunch on the last day, and it may have been the best meal of the trip. Scallop and Shrimp Risotto, Seafood Enchiladas, Barramundi, and a Burger are what I remember from the menu.

We also did Johnny Rockets. Burgers, dogs, fries were all solid.

Sorrento's was the other spot we frequented. It is not gourmet by any means, but at lunch and late at night there was always hot and fresh pizza ready for consumption.

Off Indy Monday, we were late getting in and there were delays at customs. Self-assist was scheduled to begin at 7:30, but I don't believe it started until after 8:15 or so. We were watching from the top deck and lines were not moving quickly. My guess is this is not normal, but I would have been worried had I been on an early flight.

Just off her from a 4 nighter to Cozumel. Interested to hear how our experiences compare.

Ha ha that is funny! And we have bathtubs, not showers. Stick to what you know.

Was there a toolbox in the bathtub?

They will if you stack them. Then you can swap one for the other when one gets wet from spray and/or bodily fluids.

I never knew a request was a requirement. I request an upgrade to a suite all the time, I've never gotten one yet.

But have you ever made a REQUEST?

Which REQUEST should be followed, the one from the Cruise Docs or the one from an email I may or may not receive? How do we handle all that is REQUESTED of us?
