I found some great rates at the car rental agency's inside of Belfast City Airport. Can I rent a car from there, pick up and drop off same day, if I'm not actually flying into or our of the airport? I seems to be significantly closer to the cruiseport than the companies closer to City center. There is a sixt car rental right at the port itself but we would need a vehicle that seats 7 and they don't have any available at the port.

Not to go off topic @ninjacat123 but what's your route? We did the 12 day Iceland followed by the 9 day British Isles. Our only repeat ports were Dun Laoghaire (Dublin) and Belfast. Both were worthy of a second visit. Great cruises.
Holyhead, Belfast, Liverpool, Glasgow, Cobh, Dublin. 1st time and super excited 😄

That is great news. Better than paying Cnivals Jacked up prices and for better quality too. Thank you!

Im not sure if i should post this here or on the British Isles.. here goes.
Is it true to assume that when I'm visiting ports in the British Isles sub I can bring alcohol (ex bottle of wine) or other beverages back on board with me and not have them held til end of cruise? Visiting UK, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales if that matters

We will be in Belfast at the beginning of July. A group of 7 of us are going together. I was wondering if Taxis are readily accessible in the city center for a group as big? We would like to see Giants Causeway at our leisure while we are in port and not part of a tour. Are they easily hailed or do you have to reserve in advance?

We got alot of perks you wouldn't think of normally above what the other suites got. We got special invitations to private gatherings. We got a personal invite to one of the lounges for a private cocktail party with top guests, heads of each department etc. Each department head personally sat with and chatted with us privately. Got to meet the captain. Invited to and brought on tours. Personal boarding on the Ship prior to all others and toured the ship before other guests were allowed on. Private lunch in chops. So much champagne, wine, caviar, petit fours, and other foods we had to ask them to stop.

Yikes. I have not dealt with a problem like this but wish you the best of luck. Getting Carnival to fix errors takes a lot of patience and determination.
Yeah so far that rings true

Wow! That is a lot to deal with! I’m so sorry that what should be fun and exciting has been stressful instead. My only idea would be to send a message/post on JohnHeald’s Facebook page. He may be able to step in and help you out.
I've been thinking about doing this. I think I will give them 1 more week and hope they can sort it out. 1st trip with carnival too. They had a great itinerary to my dream trip to the British Isles, now I wish I wouldn't have 😞

Now, I am quite some way out from my cruise date of June 2024, but am becoming quite concerned about how many gaffes carnival has made with my booking in such short time. To make this long story short... they have 1. Neglected to put 1 passenger on flight manifest handed over to the airline (we caught the mistake ourselves) we spent over 3 days resolving this issue. 2. They listed my elderly mom as a male on the flight manifest handed over to the airline and just told me they wouldn't fix it, tsa won't trouble us about the issue.Had to call resolutions department for that took about 2 days to resolve it. This most current issue is very concerning. I called the casino dept because there was a new offer we could switch to. Was on the phone with their department for an hour when the rep came back and said "that's funny I can't access you're booking" come to find out whatever she was doing while upgrading corrupted the booking file and I have been 1 week trying to get it restored. I've been in touch with 3 different resolutions Supervisor and have been upgded to the "Executive resolutions Supervisor" they have each told me different etas on a fix all while allegedly emailing their it department which hasn't responded nor can they be reached by phone. I've been told by one representative. Just create a new booking. Here is the problem I can't it's an international trip booked with 2 other rooms attached. All flights have been paid for And a significant amount of money has been paid already. What do I do? Has anyone else had this happen? What did you do, how was it resolved

My booking is among the missing as of Wednesday. I was trying to upgrade with a new casino promotion and during out 1hour conversation and the casino team checking prices my file/booking became corrupt. Paid a significant amount of money into it already. Sailing is not til next June but boy is that concerning. Tech support now has open ticket and I keep getting told "Check in 24hours, you should be good" Still nothing.

know there's no genie but wondering if you had a small event in your royal suite can you get snacks and light fare delivered free to the cabin?
Yes! They will deliver you food, apps, champagne for your event.

Mine came out the same, 2 pages. The print configuration was defaulted to Landscape instead of Portrait. I changed to portrait and it printed fine.

Hi, I'm new to CAS but I'm going on my 1ST 7 night comped cruise that was awarded to me at my land based casino. How will I know who my casino host is? 🤔 So on the last night of the cruise ask for discretionary obc? What if I've used obc to play in the casino the entire cruise already. Will that still tally losses?

We are also scheduled 3/31 on the Pearl for a 7 night, 3 days in Bermuda. Hopefully it doesn't get diverted. I really love the Island. I'm not a beach person so the colder temps don't get me down. I've been eyeing the forecast as well. I'm glad it's not likely to be accurate yet. The rain every day would be a bummer

Do the casinos have the box water free, or is it just filled from tap? I'm on a casino at sea cruise and was planning on going through the casino for my drinks. Also, not spending 175k to get it either 🙂

We are going to be poring there in late June and I know that there is 1 tour that goes from Peggys Cove to see the puffins. That tour only goes out on Saturdays as far as I can tell. Is there a private charter that anyone has used and would recommend?

Brilliance just moved from Miami and headed to coco cay. Maybe that's good news it's getting ready?

I'm hoping for a royal update soon. They should toss us a bone.

Well this is not looking good for Brilliance. Less than 60 days out and ... crickets

I had the royal suite on navigator of the seas. It was gorgeous. Treated like royalty. It was a once in a lifetime thing for me. Hindsight I wouldn't do it again. It was way too much way over the top. Fantastic but for me I'd go with a grand or owners suite.

Royal put a schedule on their website a few weeks ago what ship and when it sails. Brilliance hasn’t changed
To be fair neither has Oasis from NJ and there has been an official test cruise announced for them

Video seemingly confirms 1st sailing beginning September 4th. I wonder if there have insider information or are they just using the same rc schedule everyone else does
-
I wonder if they will update their web page soon with more test cruises. It still reflects last update June 15th.

I know all of the above. We've cruised out of Tampa a couple of times.
I'm just wondering if the future cruises are, indeed, going to happen. I think Carnival and NCL also have future cruises scheduled out of there. Perhaps I'll ask on their board. I don't think any of the ships that will be sailing from there are there......Brilliance, for example, is in Europe and I t hink its TA is up in the air.
I used a cruise mapper and it shows brilliance in Bahamas

Terrific. That's what I was hoping to hear! I'll taxi there to pick it up.
