  1. I am currently booked on Freedom for 8/23 sailing.  I wanted to change to the Harmony for the same date.  I don't mind paying the deposit so it's not a big deal.  My TA doesn't seem to think Royal will let this happen.  Odds of the San Juan cruise is MUCH less likely of going than the Harmony out of Port Canaveral.  I wanted to change in case for some reason we get to port it would be much easier for us to get home in case something happens.  We're only about 8 hours from there so worst case we can drive home if needed.  Right now I have a deposit for the Freedom sailing and will ask for the refund for that if it gets cancelled.  Note that my 4/19 cruise was cancelled and waiting on FCC for that.  I would think changing to the Harmony with an entire new reservation would qualify for the CWC policy.  Am I missing something?

Sorry if this wasn't clear, too many thoughts flying in my head.

I'd started packing for my April 19 cruise on Freedom. I finally unpacked it all when Royal officially extended their suspension of cruising, but I'd accepted it wouldn't happen well before that. It was very heartbreaking putting it all away. Even more heartbreaking cancelling my cruise planner purchases, which I'd done a few days before the cruise was cancelled. It'll be hard when April 19 comes and picturing what I should have been doing 😔

I was on that sailing too.  I didn't cancel my precruise planner purchases.  Now the prices are higher for everything.  Waiting it out to see they come down during holiday sales so I can book for my 8/23 sailing.  I hope so.

  3. We would have been leaving to head to PR in 24 days but NOOOOOO.  Some guy in China had to play with a bat.  Thanks guy, we all appreciate it.

Are you rebooked?  We rebooked immediately on a late August cruise doing the same itinerary and everything.  We even got an upgrade to a jr. suite for the same price we paid for the original booking.  Now I just sit and wait on my credit from cruise planner.

  4. I was on the 4/19 sailing out of San Juan and obviously it was cancelled.  I took advantage of the 125% cruise planner credit since it was a hefty amount (drink and internet packages, excursions, dining).  I am booked on the 8/23 sailing out of San Juan now and able to make cruise planner purchases.  My question is, how long will it take for the credit to be issued so I don't have to pay out of pocket?  Do I have to wait until 4/8 which is the last day to take advantage of the offer or 4/30 when the FCC are issued?  I didn't see anything about the cruise planner time frame so I figured I might have over looked it.

We are canceling.  Enough stress already.  Now I have to fight with Delta to try and get the money I paid them 10 months ago for

8 rt tickets to FLL.  And, after paying a lot of money for Travel Insurance, it appears that it is a waste of money.  So much for being "Loyal to Royal".

When is your cruise?  Delta is waiving all fees to cancel if you are traveling in March and April.

  6. What's holding you back from going?  I shattered my elbow and required extensive surgery the week before the cruise.  We didn't do any excursion but still enjoyed the trip.  I have no regrets.  Stay on the ship, enjoy the time away, and relax.  When do you think you'll get surgery?

I do understand where you're coming from though.
