    Blasphemy

I’ve said it before - the water we saw at Valley Church Beach on Antigua when we stopped there in 2013 was among the best I’ve ever seen.

It was a nice beach but we couldn't see anything last May, the water was so cloudy.  We plan to try it again in April.

  2. We cruised NCL for the first time last year and will be cruising them again in April.  The Free at Sea makes it far more affordable than anything I have seen on Carnival for quite some time.

Haha! This hit home for me. I’m a dual citizen born and raised in Canada now living in the US. It has taken me YEARS to stop asking “where is the washroom, please?” Apart from confused looks I was once led to the “laundry room” during a college tour with my daughter. Hehe.

I've used washroom, restroom and bathroom.  I never really thought about this before, I am going to start listening to others.  I was born, raised and still live in southern Ohio.

I had a treat at dinner. They seated a British family next to mess I got to sit next to a 7 year old. The parents used foul language like it was just normal. Then at one point the kid asked a question about babies being born so I had listen to graphic talk about all of that while eating.

There’s more to it than that but that’s probably all I can share without getting reported/deleted.

I wish they would give us a little breathing room instead of seating us in each others laps. There was plenty of space available in the dining room.

We cruised NCL for the first time in May, I was amazed at the room between tables in the MDR compared to Carnival.

First, we are seasoned cruisers, cruising mostly with Celebrity and Princess and RC in the past. Decided to try NCL Haven and here is our take.

We are on Gateway, day 4, sailing from Port Canaveral. A short report so far.

We drove from home, no traffic, about an hour. Got into the port area around 11 for 12 -12:30 check in. OMG, line of cars was about half a mile long. Took us about 50 min to go thru, park the car. Then we got checked in Haven section. It was fairly quickly. Our suite is very nice with a lot of closet space, nice bathroom and jacuzzi tub in the room (haven’t used it yet). We met our lady butler. She is very nice. We didn’t have many requests, so few things we asked for, she gets us. Haven area is very nice, relaxing.
Concierge service is very convenient. I will give a full report about Haven restaurant by the end of the cruise. We don’t like public areas of the ship. 17 bars and 15 restaurants and different venues makes this ship feel even more crowded.

    Stay tuned, more to come.

I agree, we were on the cruise before yours.  I have never experienced such crowds on a ship.

  6. It was a mess getting off the ship last Thursday.  We were light blue tags, I think they callled us around 9:15.   There were so many people doing "self assist" that should not have.  If you have 5 suitcases, a stroller, and a baby in your arms check your bags.  If you can't walk and have a mobility scooter or use a walker, check your bags.
