Ours was canceled mid March and we opted for a refund. Received it this morning. Took 39 business days.

Good news someone on another group posted they got refunds for march 27. Its progressing. You should be within the next week. Lots of new threads by impatient folks it seems.
I don't think people are being impatient. I think we all see what is going on in the cruise industry and are concerned about our cash flow just like the cruise industry is. I will gladly give it back to them in the future but I would rather hold on to it myself.

Scroll down a page or so...multiple threads on this subject. Not sure how you can say you see a lot of people being refunded. I see no full refunds to date for Royal cancelled sailings.
Thanks

I see a lot of people have been refunded but we have not seen ours yet. We were scheduled to sail March 30 and waited until Royal canceled. We decided to get the refund because did not know when we were going to be able to sail again. Is there anyone else that was supposed to have already sailed that has not been refunded yet?

Are you rebooked?
We have not rebooked yet. Spring Break is the easiest week since us and the kids can block off time. We will readdress when things are lifted.

Was supposed to leave for Florida Saturday to get on the Mariner on Monday. We should be packing now. Stay safe everyone

I have been with RCI long enough to know something will be done. I think it is a good idea not to promote OBC because it keeps those who really are sick from trying to sneak on board for free money. I would think that AFTER you have passed the sick checks and have checked on board and made it to your room there would be a surprise waiting for you.

Literally every thread on the RCI board is about the 48 hour cancellation policy.

We were on the 3/3 to 3/11 sailing aboard the Freedom of the Seas and we had my time dining and were assigned to the Galileo's dining room on deck 5.
I am guessing since you were on 3/3 and 3/11 you did the new Eastern Caribbean itinerary for one sailing (St. Kitts, St. Maarten, San Juan, and Labadee)....How was it? We are going on the 3/31 sailing and would love some insight. Also, seeing mixed reviews as to what shows, comedians, etc are currently on the Freedom. Can you let us know?

We are leaving on the 3/31 sailing. There is a set of compasses from Jan 2018 but I cannot seem to find at the moment. If you go to royal Caribbean blog.com you will find several from the last few months. Sorry i cant post the link for some reason.

We were on the Carnival Elation last week with friends and loved the app. For $5 you can text through the app. We are very disappointed that RCCL has not done this yet on all ships. Sailing our favorite ship(FOS) end of this month

Does anyone have a copy of the compasses from a Feb or March 2018 sailing on the 8 night to PR, St. Marteen, St Kitts, and Hatti? We have looked and do not see any posted later than January. We are sailing March 31 and we noticed that the posted compasses from January were different from December. TIA

Your safest choice may be to get an internet plan for both phones. Activate WiFi calling and put both phones in Airplane mode and you should be able to call or text between anyone on the ship or at home without any charges. This way you won't have to worry about any unexpected charges.
Thanks this might be the best option.

So... I went on a girls cruise, and I swear, some of them were worse at wandering around and getting lost than a tween :) It was VERY helpful that a couple of us got the wireless plan, and we could message each other our locations when needed. We used our phones for pictures anyways, so we didn't find carrying our phones around a nuisance.
Are you able to use what's app or hangouts?

Our 12 year old is looking forward to being able to roam around on his own on our upcoming Freedom cruise. We normally have him with us but it's time to let him spread his wings a bit. So parents, what's the best device you have found to communicate with your children while onboard ? Do walkie talkies have enough range? I would use our phones and talk through a messenger app but only one device can be connected. What does everyone else do/use? TIA
