  1. I managed to squeeze in a lunch at Ocean Terrance on Discovery this past November. And when I say "squeeze in", I literally mean the last available seat at the very end of the bar. It was packed throughout the cruise, or at least the times I walked by, so I jumped at the chance to try it out. Being à la carte pricing, I was surprised how consistently busy it stayed. Anyway, sushi was good. Not the best I've had (spoiled here in Los Angeles), but was happy with the rolls and other items I tried. Yes, it's a limited menu, but I'll go again - it's a nice change from the other options, especially during lunch. Oh, and like @lx200gps, service for me was also slow. There were only two servers during the time I was there and they tried their best.
  2. I enjoyed Bistro on Discovery last month. Was seated by the windows, so the Piazza noise wasn't a complete annoyance. The food was good - definitely better than my experience at Crown Grill earlier on the cruise. In fact, a few people mentioned that the steak in Bistro was a step above Crown Grill (I had the sea bass, which was best I've had on any ship). Service was top notch. Best of any of the specialty restaurants that I tried on that cruise. For example, when I had a tough time deciding between two appetizers, our server offered to bring both. Same with dessert (though, desserts weren't anything to write home about). I rebooked for Discovery in a couple of months and I've made Bistro my first dinner for that cruise.
  3. Was just on Discovery last week and received the round loaf with butter, cheese, and garlic filling...however, it arrived cold and was already hardening. Pretty sure it was supposed to arrive warm, if not hot, but didn't say anything as I try not to fill up on bread before a multi-course meal. 😁
