ask whom? you think a cook has any idea of the ingredients

Not being snarly, I do think the cook would have an idea of some the ingredients.

Ask the maître de' on boarding day. It worked for me when I told them I had food allergies, and that I was a vegan. They were extremely helpful (Norwegian and Carnival),  letting me know the options I had to eat and letting me know what the ingredients were in the meals that I could eat. Ask, it will not hurt

I stand corrected. The impossible burger and the beyond burgers are the best tasting vegan/veggie burgers out there. It would be great if they could offer either at guys. It wouldn’t take much to accomplish this either. An electric griddle and they’re good to go.

Uh none because they don’t offer either but both would be a great meat free option to add to Guys. Give them a try you’d be surprised how delicious they are but cook the Beyond burger in a skillet because I can’t ever get them not to stick to the grill.

I am vegan, but will switch to being a non-cholesterol-vegetarian (nothing made with egg yolk), for cruises or when a restaurant does not have a vegan menu.

Try Morning Star Farms black bean burgers. I think they use egg whites to hold the ingredients together.

From what I remember(have not eaten meat in 38 years), they taste nothing like meat.

Next time on a cruise, ask what the ingredients in their veggie burgers are made from.

The main pool (the aft pool) does have a retractable roof but the Legend does not have a screen for movies like Pride and Spirit. There is no "indoor" place to see movies that I'm aware of except on your in-cabin TV.

I was on the Legend from Vancouver to Hawaii. During the 5 seas days, they showed movies in the comedy club.

  4. I give the Legend a B+ grade, it would be A- if it had an outdoor screen.

Very easy to navigate around the ship.

Décor is PG-15 in some places. Some semi nude ladies and men are used for wall papering in the halls.

Easy, it was just a question. I am a 59-year-old man who is never used cannabis in his life. However I do have cream for a very bad back. That’s all I was asking I didn’t need a lecture! Life  it’s too short for people always being nasty to one another. Thanks for the fact sheet that did help.

Does the cream work for you? I have had several discectomy's, and a spinal fusion. Pain has been eased , but I get real bad spasms. I am 60 and have never used myself.

    Thanks

    FWIW, Norwegian uses Nationwide.

We paid $219 pp (medical, trip cancel, baggage loss, and evac)on an eight day cruise out of Barcelona, plus 3 days before cruise in Paris and London.

If we had booked through Nationwide directly, the plan would have been $285(rounded) for two.

    Do your homework.

My mistake, was not per person' it was per couple.

The medical evac was better going through Nationwide directly.

yes, they shuttle you back to the hotel.  They give you a phone number and you are to call them when they call you to disembark.

Microtel in Saraland.  When you book tell them that you want the park and cruise package.  There is a seafood restaurant next door, across the street is a Ruby Tuesdays and a coffee shop.  And two blocks away there is a Waffle House-we like the seafood restaurant.  The hotel serves one of those weird hotel breakfasts, hot oatmeal, hot biscuits with gravy (yum) weird scrambled eggs, etc, but hey, the hotel is nice, the breakfast included, and they drive you to the port-we have been pleased twice, and place to book again two more times next year.

    Thanks

  10. I know some vegans who eat one of the UNhealthiest diets on earth.

Beer, French fries, potato chips, and Oreo's are some of their main staples.

I am a vegan and have not had any problem with the food on the Carnival ships I have been on. Still not brave enough to try one of their veggie burgers. If they finally make a good black bean burger, I'm in.

We flew in to Orlando on Friday March 1, and stayed at the Country Inn and Suites on Astronaut Blvd. We used Smart Two Shuttle service from MCO to hotel, that worked out great. There was an excellent Italian Restaurant right down the street from hotel that we enjoyed that evening. On Saturday March 2, we took the hotel shuttle to port at 9:30am. We had FTTF, and breezed through to the waiting area within 10 minutes from stepping off shuttle. We began to board just before 11:00, after the D&P and weddings, dropped our bags in our cabin (8302)

We had to have run into, or passed one another several  times on this cruise. I stayed at the same hotel, and was on the same shuttle from the hotel. Not only this, I was in cabin 8273, about 8 rooms down the hall from you.

I enjoyed the cruise, and yes, Donkey was very entertaining. To me...…., the comedians could have been better. The first guy seemed to be drunk all the time.

I agree, the smoke in the casino was problematic, it was tiring going to level four to cross under the casino. Wait times for dinner was minimal, and the food was good.

For those that have never been, Cucina Capitano was excellent. I am vegan, so they went out of their way to provide dishes I could eat, plus they gave me three appetizers.

The shows in the atrium were better than the shows in the main auditorium, not saying that the Broadway type shows were bad. Several movies still in theaters were nice too.

Disembarking 4500 people went pretty smooth considering the amount of people. I would have no problem at ALL sailing the Breeze again.

  12. me too! A cruise just got back today, so maybe someone will do a review!

Please let them say a pool side screen has been added,

and that they have taken down that tacky wall paper. With all of the sea days, watching a movie under the star lit sky would be awesome.

Next cruise is September 13th-24th Vancouver to Hawaii. ,

  13. DO NOT forget the muster drill. It is a safety measure that the cruises use. It is not perfect, but it is a way for the ships to TRY and have an orderly evacuation if there is an emergency. If not, all the folk who chose to miss, will turn an emergency into a chaotic mess in which lives could be lost.

Please adhere to all safety measures that the cruise line have installed.

The reason it takes so long, is because the staff are trying to find the folk who try and miss the muster drill. They have a count of all on board, and if their station is short, crew members have to go and check where they maybe. It would be much shorter if everyone cooperated.

  14. Some people are special, after all, right?

Why should they wait with the great unwashed while they enjoy another drink on the Lido deck?

Glad they were forced to do it... those are the same idiots who would panic and run roughshod over others in a real emergency!

Could not have said it better. These are installed for safety purposes. Any idiot who thinks this is cute (skipping muster count), would be the first one suing if a member of their party was left behind.

This is the same reason we sign in when visiting an apartment complex, hospital, or visiting a business.........so the safety officials will know who exactly is in the building.

Perfect? no.......at least they are trying.
