So sorry for both you and your wife! I pray the outcome will be short for both of you. May I ask what deck your quarantined on?  Hope we can still all get to San Francisco and I hope you get home safely when you can! Take care

    Sincerely

    🌺Denise

We are being moved to deck 12 with a balcony is what they told us. We shall see. Right now we are on lido deck

  2. Moving us to quarantine cabin.

the medical guy said he’s been busy all night since the announcement last night and has hardly slept.

I hope they let us quarantine in our own hotel and and take our 1st class flight home.
we have someone house sitting with our pets and they have to leave Monday evening:(

    what a nightmare come true:(

  3. I went to feeling fine when the captain made his announcement to having chills around 11pm. Just woke up to the worst chills and sore throat I’ve had since I was a kid. Wife says she’s not doing any better. Going to call medical for a test.

we had plans to stay a night on fisherman’s wharf before flying home, do they even let you fly home with active Covid?

    this was a major mistake.

all the pieces fit now. We went to the show about 4-5 days ago and you could tell that they had just grabbed a regular crew member to fill in and was terrible.

then on Cabo we where put right next to each other in the theater to wait for our tender and many not wearing masks and lots of coughs.

I wonder  if they will deliver the lobster dinner if you ask for it?

I asked on the “crew chat” they said call room service to see what was available and I asked and was told only normal delivery items, nothing from the dining room, so no lobster for us, unless we want to risk Covid around everyone eating. What a nightmare!

they really blew it this time.

Wow I’m sorry to hear that. Please let us know what steps are taken to control this outbreak. I do hope you stay healthy.

They are giving us N95 masks. They had given use medical masks when we embarked, now the N95 is given out.

captain gave the order of using n95 at all times and everywhere. We are going to just stay In our cabin and try to stay safe until we get off in San Francisco.

  6. I sure wish they wouldn’t have dropped the PCR test before embarkation and testing 2 days before the Panama Canal.

noticed 2 days ago that there was a lot of  dry coughing going around.

captain just came on and announced that N95 mask must be worn at all times.

he also said that they would give everyone $25 non refundable credit?

how can we spend it if we want to stay safe from Covid?

also looks like no credit being given for missing Nicaragua?

our neighbors toilet has broken 5 times with feces flooding (not their own). Ours and a portion of our floor was without toilets the other day.

we were about to go down for lobster on our last formal night, now I guess I’ll get a hamburger delivered:(

Have they said you will stop somewhere else instead of Cartagena and San Juan del Sur or they will be at sea days?

I’m interested to find out as well if they are going to be sea days. We have this cruise in March and having 12 out of 15 days being at sea is too much.

hopefully if these ports are off for the near future, princess should reschedule other ports in their place.

    Hi MishelleMcc,

Thanks for posting the picture showing the view from your balcony. Do you have one showing the size of the balcony?

We’re going to be in L256 and I’m wondering how the balcony compares to the balconies from the royal class ships. Hoping for a little more balcony space, the royal class balconies were only about 4ft deep at most.

they were back today when I logged in earlier - no harm, no foul ...

Not back in Colorado yet. I’ve tried 3 browsers, clearing cache with no change.

However today on all these browsers, I don’t even get an error….or logged in.

When the login is submitted, it just returns another blank login..

    Maybe this is prgress?

They should put an outage notice on the login page.

Are these the same tiny tails that are served in the MDR?

Yes, they were the same tiny ones:(

i even asked when the chef came to go over the menu which type lobster as I wanted a large cold lobster and if they were the small tails with little taste, I would take the filet instead. He assured me it was the Maine lobster, so went with that and the 2 tiny Caribbean tales arrived.

We are on a 7 night cruise that departs on a Saturday. Sunday is a sea day and so is Friday. All of the others are days in port. Which nights are the formal nights??

    I'm guessing Monday and Thursday???

I'm on this cruise as well.

the first will be on Sunday and the 2nd will be on Wednesday after leaving Belize.

I have the same problem. I've tried to turn them off...no go. I get notifications for almost every post I've done whether subscribed or not.

Hate it, but I just ignore it.

    I agree,

ive turned all notifications off and do it at each posting as well and still get these.

is there not some way to make it stop.

    please fix

Had a wonderful evening with our tablemates. We closed Crooners, then played blackjack until we closed the casino too. Some blackjack gripes though: the blackjack payout is 6:5 instead of 3:2 and the minimum bet is now $6.

With that odds change it really shifts the advantage to the house. I haven't played onboard, but now won't consider.

Did the small print on their special rules say they can deal from the bottom of the deck too;)

    Hi There

Can any body tell me if the majestic Princess has diet tonic water?

And also if i order the 375ml bottle of  Gin  will that  be delivered to my State room on embarkation day

    TIA

    Ray

There's a chance it will arrive on embarkation day if you call for it as soon as you get to your cabin, but our experiences is that ours never arrived on embarkation day.... usually by around 4pm the 2nd day. The thing is it can waste a lot of time as you need to be in the cabin when delivered, so a lot of waiting.

Everytime we were told it's very busy on embarkation day with lots of alcohol to deliver for the whole ship and it can take a day or two.

Diet tonic was not available, I suggest bringinf your own.

    No advantage to pre purchase.

I agree, in fact there is a disadvantage as far as I'm concerned.

if you order beforehand on the personalizer, you think great I'm taking care of this and won't need to waste time onboard.... wrong, not only do you enter all your card data and time to place the order... but when you get to your cabin, you will just find a voucher, then you will have to call room service, wait on hold and then arrange delivery.

if you just order onboard, you skip the credit card entry and advance payment and save steps.

like someone mentioned, try could raise prices... but that doesn't mean they won't cancel all preorders and let everyone know prices increased and they will need to reorder at the new price.

We are platinum and get 250 minutes.  Our cruise is 14 days and was booked that way even though we go back to Ft Laude dale for the second half of the cruise.

is our 250 min for the entire 14 days?

Actually you will get 300 min. They will give you 150 min for each leg of the cruise. If it were a 14 day with no return to FLL half way through, then it would be 250.
