  1. Hi All,

I am brand spanking new to cruising but you all have been so very helpful for me I wanted to let you know that there is an early saver sale with a $50 on board credit that Carnival gave me for my already booked Vista cruise on 8/20/17. I filled out the form and within 10 minutes had an updated confirmation sent to me with the $50 on board credit noted. Not a lot but it's something :)

I got $30 per couple back on an up coming May 2017 cruise and OBC. Cool!

  2. Hello,

We are sailing on a three day cruise Sept 15. I figure this would be a great opportunity to use cheers. We might not exit the ship on the one port day.

I can imagine if we do a 7 days cruise with three long days off the ship, that cheers might not be worth it.

Anyway, I am going to get a couple Bloody Mary's and a couple Alchemy bar drinks and I will be at $50 :) so anything above that I am saving money. I could easily drink three or four Bloody Mary's everyday.

    Have a wonderful cruise.

  3. I think of FTTF as part of a different journey. I have done suite boarding, group normal boarding with no lines and group (waiting) boarding where everyone sat for a couple hours due to the ship being late. Every journey is different and that is part of the fun. I paid the extra fifty for DH and I because I wanted our cabin to be ready. He will have just finished a week long conference and I want him to be able to go right to the balcony and relax. Our cabin is on the lido deck so we can drop our luggage, get a drink and be in our cabin while many people are stuck on the lido for a while. (WE SAIL ON 9/15/16)

FTTF was not needed for the group that waited (due to the ship being late). Everyone boarded within a few minutes of each other and the cabins were all ready.

I keep going on vacations/cruise because each trip is a unique adventure. Love it!

  4. I wish they would amend it to include coffee, if they would I would go for it, coffee is cheaper than beer, wonder why they wont count it in?

The following beverages are now available within the enhanced CHEERS! program:

All spirits, including cocktails, cognacs, whiskies and other spirits, as well as beer and glasses of wine, with a $50 USD or lower menu price per serving

Zero-Proof frozen cocktails, sodas (including specialty sodas) and juices

Specialty coffees and teas served in the main dining rooms, specialty restaurants and coffee bars

    Milkshakes

RockStar energy drinks, Powerade, Vitamin Water, Coconut Water and Honest Tea

500ml bottles of water served in bars and lounges

Large format (1 liter and 1.5-liter) bottles of water in the main dining rooms and specialty restaurants

25 percent discount off the menu price for any spirit, cocktail or wine by the glass, costing above $50 USD per serving

25 percent discount off the menu price for wine and champagne by the bottle and larger format water bottles purchased outside the main dining rooms or specialty restaurants

25 percent discount off the menu price for all beverage classes and seminars

I am going to try the Cheers program on a three day cruise. Can't wait. 40 days :)

  5. So--even if we don't "break even", I think Cheers will enhance our vacation experience so much that it will be worth the cost. And THAT is worth paying for.

This is it for me exactly. I want to enjoy the minute and not worry about another ten dollars on my credit card. I will breakeven but more importantly, I will try new things. My husband loves trying new wine. The price per glass on the Cheers program is $50. That is the cost for the entire day.

    Explore and have fun.
