Lots of great apps, soups and salads! We like to try new ones each cruise. Happy cruising.

As far as I have experienced the Port of Miami over the years: 1) No restaurants 2) Boarding tends to start about 11:30ish for the first group and 3) Due to security reasons, no storage lockers.

Thanks for the perspectives on the Escape...sailing from Nassau.... and the Miami port... and not to try early flights with other ships and other ports. Makes sense

I had the same issue with printing. When I tried one luggage tag at a time -- with a different size paper (my printer had a vertical option) -- it finally worked.

Just off Escape today. We are Platinum Latitudes so we had yellow tags and were in the first group after walk off. We left our cabin at 8:15 and we're at MIA around 9:20 or so, more than plenty of time for our 11:30 am flight.

Sounds good. Great timing.

Thx.. So...if we do the walk off, we could be at the Miami airport early....by 8am. If we don't do the walk off -- perhaps we could arrive to the Miami airport between 9:30 to 10:00. Unless Murphy's law enters....

If you do not use the easy walk off, what is the earliest time you have gotten off the Getaway or Escape in the Miami port? If we put our luggage outside our cabin the night before and have a priority disembarkation time (one of the first times), what time should we get off? We have a 1130 flight departure from MIA.

As you probably know, the getaway and escape both have a children's ropes course.

We booked two cruises in 2018 on February 1, 2017 -- and our PCC was told by two different Norwegian reps that we will definitely receive the double points. So we are trusting their website about double points before February 3rd and what the NCL reps stated.

You are so right about old threads. I got confused reading the earlier threads. The program has changed considerably. It has worked well for us the last couple years. If you can afford the 100 shares, I think it is a great deal especially if you sail a few times a year.

We had all those benefits in January on the Breakaway. We used every one of them. Unlimited free calls from the Stateroom.... hard to believe. A good incentive to have sign up at the last moment... enjoy!

Prost! UBP is a great option. We have enjoyed it on the different ships.

We also like the water shoes for some of the beaches. We went to the Southern Caribbean last month and were glad to have water shoes for half of the beaches.

Thanks for the helpful review. Sounds like the PP benefits worked well for you. Looks like it is a gamble what officer will show up for dinner.... but you did well with Claus!

It is nice in Bermuda since you are there for a few days. We had an overnight in St. Petersburg. Looking forward to Havana...

I have heard the following over the years..... What time is the midnight buffet? (Which they do not have anymore....). Do the crew sleep onboard? (No, they take boat to shore each evening...). What happens to the ice sculptures after the melt??

My grandkids have been on two NCL and two Disney cruises. They like both! We agree with Karima -- Disney is great for kids 9 and under -- if you can afford it.

If NCL offered completely non-smoking cruises, would you book?
