If you need it for a CPAP or other medical reason, you can bring it onboard with your medical equipment. Otherwise you can call room service once onboard and buy it by the gallon. I do not know the price, guessing probably $5/gallon.
Thank you!

Going to need distilled water for my next cruise. Is this available on the ship?

Thank you! Enjoy the rest of your cruise!

Is the last night of the cruise the second formal night? I was reading that it is and thought how odd?

Thank you all so much! You have been very helpful!

Thinking of driving an F350 dually down for our cruise. It's only a 3 hour drive but it's very expensive to rent a car from one location and drop off at a different location. It's less expensive to take our vehicle which is the truck but we are concerned about leaving it at the port. How safe is parking? Thanks!

What is the difference between a balcony and a club balcony?
-
I'm on the 12/11 sailing on the Celebration in an excel suite. The offer popped up yesterday for $2250 for a cabana. We were on the Mardi Gras last year ( excel suite), we went up to loft 19 but didn't rent a cabana. I don't see the need for one. They are not worth it. If you have an excel suite you have a great balcony.

We will be doing the Chef's Table for the second time in a few weeks. The first time, which was a few years ago, we did tip extra to our servers. We really did not know if it was customary to tip the chef. I would like some opinions on who and how much we should tip! TIA

I too thought the room service menu was going to be expanded. All Carnival has really done is add additional charges. Last time we cruised on the Mardi Gras, the room service was the worst we have ever had. We don't order much but the items we did order, which had an additional charge, were just awful. The last cruise we skipped the main dining room every night and ate mostly at the specialty restaurants. We paid for them because the food is so much better.
Years ago, when we first started cruising, all your food was included, and it was good. I know the cruise industry took a big hit during Covid, but we are still paying for our cruises.

We just booked the Celebration Christmas cruise. I'm not seeing any of the cooking classes offered yet. Does anyone know when these will be added. TIA

Liberty is 110,000 gross tons, Sunshine is 103,000. That's almost not even noticeable. Its not like its a Fantasy class, or even a Spirit...
We have been on the Conquest and loved her. I would not mind cruising on the Liberty, except food venues are not that great. The Sunshine was probably the worst cruise we have taken. The public spaces are so small. No way would I consider cruising on her again!

We have an Excel suite on the Mardi Gras with an early boarding time of 10-10:30. Will our stateroom be ready when we board. If not, will we be able to drop our carry-on's in the stateroom while they are getting it ready?

My husband has an F350 dually and we are thinking about taking that to the port instead of renting a car? We are not sure it will fit in the parking garage. We also need to make sure we park it in a very safe place. We are only about an hour and a half from the port. I would hate to have to go through the ordeal of renting a car but if that’s the best thing to do we will.

We got a great deal on our upcoming cruise on the Mardi Gras. I have wondered if this is due in part to how much we have spent onboard on past cruises.

Maybe we can meet and have a drink together! Love meeting new people! One more Carnival cruise after this one and we will be platinum! The Steakhouse is amazing! Try to book it!

Prepaid tips are split between many crew members. They make VERY little for the amount of work they do! The only adjusting that needs to be done is extra tipping during and at the end of your cruise. We always prepay our tips but feel like it is the bare minimum and definitely tip many of the crew in cash.

Chef's Table- tipping
in Carnival Cruise Lines

I know you prepay for tipping at the Chef's table, but I'm curious if you tip extra?
