Fingers crossed for you! I know she has a scheduled dry dock right after your cruise, hopefully they dont cancel more cruises and go to drydock earlier.

Interestingly enough, several of the people that answer the questions for NCL are members of cruise critic.😀

They do a decent job ok easy questions, but will try to answer questions they don't know, rather than saying they don't know.

Definitely disappointing when you plan for a vacation and you are faced with stress, rather than relaxation. Hope you are able to salvage your vacation.

Thanks for the info. But when I checked on Carnival's web site, I did not see that rate for the sailing I am interesting in. Do I have to call?

If it's not showing up, it's not offered yet, it could show up closer to your sail date or not at all, just depends on how well your cruise is selling.

I have never heard of pack n go. How can this rate be booked? Thanks for any info you can give me on this.

You can book it with Carnival directly or with your TA, just like any rate.

It is a guarantee assignment and must be paid in full and it's non refundable or transferrable.

All three accept AUD.

Only 1 of the 3 ships in the class is home ported on the East Coast (Magic, in Port Canaveral). Breeze and Dream sail primarily Western Caribbean itineraries. Even when Breeze and Dream head east, Half Moon Cay being southeast of Nassau most likely puts Half Moon Cay out of reach.

 

Magic tends to go further south than the Bahamas on her Eastern Caribbean itineraries. Carnival most likely decided to put the larger ships on the less port-intensive itineraries.

Breeze and Dream sailed from Miami and Port Canaveral for 4+ years and never called on HMC.

Actually, to be more accurate, the island is owned by Holland America. Carnival Cruise Lines has use of it because both cruise lines are owned by Carnival Corporation. And they are the only two of Carnival Corp's lines that use it.

No sports bar on Fantasy. Usually they show the games by the aft lounge. There are usually 3-4 different spots to watch the game

So, does that mean the Breeze, Magic, and Dream don't visit HMC either?

Vista is not much bigger, if at all bigger than those two. Right?

No Dream class ships call on HMC

I have always, and will always, book on my own. I do not want to be at the mercy of someone else's time. What if they take the day off work unexpectedly and I find a price drop? I'm SOL. Nope, I work for me and I am the best boss ever :D
