Both 1804 and 1854 will be considered suites after May 2018. When I booked they were under the suite category.

We did beach days in both ports and went to Red Stripe and Paradise with our young boys. We really enjoyed both places but with small children I would choose Paradise. The pool, the amenities and a cheap cab ride made it a great day. My son has food allergies so we took snacks with us for him with no problems. Enjoy!

I sent out socks, undies and t-shirts on Oasis in March. Never again, and lesson learned. I just wanted clean clothes as we were doing Disney after our cruise. $35 later I couldn't wait to get home and wash the chemical smell out of them. Most of it shrunk was grey in colour.

Thanks again! Called RC and got the $200 OBC being offered. It's all good!
-
Thanks for the reply! I'm only looking to reprice as they are offering OBC deals right now that were not available last week. Also keeping an eye for KSF deals.

I apologise for my ignorance but I'm a fairly new RC cruiser! I booked a week ago for AOS for March in one of the new panoramic oceanview cabins on deck 12. Both rooms are sold for my sailing now and when I try and do a mock booking it won't allow me to price it as they are not available to book.
I want to keep an eye on the price as I didn't get a super deal. Anyone know of a way to price it short of phoning RC each time a new deal comes out?
Thanks for any advice! :)

It's reassuring to know it's a fun ship! I booked AOS for spring break 2019, my kids are thrilled to go b/c we were just on Oasis and they loved it. I'm hoping not to compare ships at every turn but just enjoy AOS for what she has.

We got the same deal last year and our kids sailed free in March. I just booked for March 2019 and hoped to see the same deal but the RC agent told me not to hold my breath. Maybe it was a one off but she said she hasn't seen any KSF deals for spring break 2018.

I'm so excited!! Just booked a Panoramic Ocean View (1854) on AOS for March 2019. My agent indicated they are not considered a suite but I'll wait to see what happens after the dry-dock and see what other people's experiences are. We are a family of 4, excited for a large room, bunks for my boys and the half bathroom. Both rooms are now gone for our sailing. ⛴

Truly laughed out loud at the pizza smell comment! We just got off the Oasis and the promenade there also smells like stinky feet! In the hopes of enticing people I'm sure they have a Parmesan aroma machine. I thought it was vile!

I just got off Oasis 2 weeks ago and we had a lounger, chair with footstool, table and 2 chairs.

My Oasis sailing for next month is offering one device for $6.54 CAD. I might go for that!!!

For those that have used this service did everything come back and in good shape? We're staying at Universal post cruise, so this service would be really helpful. Just not wanting a bag of shrunk T-shirts :) Thanks!
-
To be the best of my knowledge it is above the queen size bed. (Which imo is the weirdest place to put it).

we are going to Universal when we disembark in March. How did you get there?
Thanks :)

All children are allowed, regardless of their behavior.
I just thought it might be an adult only venue. My 10 and 8 year old would
behave appropriately, when they were 2 and 4 not so much. :o
-
Are well behaved children welcome in the CK? I would much prefer to
eat breakfast there than dinner but I'll try it once or twice!

Why not just cruise on a line where the issues you mention aren't issues. I suspect the reality is that you aren't willing to put your money where your mouth is when push comes to shove.
I can't like this comment enough.

Staying for 3 extra days after our Oasis cruise in March to take our Harry Potter mad kids to Universal. I've never been before, are the express passes worth the extra $$$? Thanks for any advice!
-
I wish they had a kids package of some sort or a 20 drink pass. My kids would love the frozen virgin drinks and a pop here and there but I don't want them drinking it unlimited all week at cost of $215 pp. That is ridiculous for an adult let alone a 10 & 8 year old.

I have been trying to book for our next cruise in April 2017 but it must be too far out as nothing is showing up. :(
It would have been good to get the upgrade from premium to ultimate. :)
I'm cruising at the end of March....it didn't show up in my cruise planner either but I dug around the entertainment/excursions/dining/beverage options and it let me.

I have a B2B to Alaska in June/July 2017....cruise planner online doesn't offer the drink packages yet. I called RC directly and told me that the purchase of drink packages wouldn't become available until 90 days out. I guess I'm out of luck of trying to get the better rate before the policy change.
I find that 90 day policy hit or miss. I'm 180 days out and was able to order online and pay by credit card. I had to play with the planner a little bit though as it didn't show up, I had to go digging for it!

I can buy a package today for my March 2017 Oasis sailing at the full price plus gratuity. If I pull the trigger and buy today can I change it if a kick a$$ sale happens in the next 6 months? I'm ordering the Royal Replenish which is going up significantly in price. Thanks for your advice :)

After waiting on hold last night for 45 mins while my agent talked to a “different department,” and sending an email containing screenshots of their website, RC honoured free grats for my AOS sailing. Last night was reprice #6, unless a KSF comes along (unlikely since its spring break) I doubt I’ll do better.
The agent insisted free grats was only available for Oasis class and the OBC of 350 was only offered to suites. I’m in one of the new panoramic ocean view rooms which changes room category to a suite level starting May 2018. That took some explaining but in the end they said I was correct and I’ll receive a credit for the gratuities plus I got $350 OBC. I’m happy!
