I have it calendared to schedule the antigen test 2 days ahead. But grocery shopping at Safeway today & will ask why I can't get on the schedule. I need it anyway for the Philharmonic May 13th. They checked my  vax & DL to make sure I was up to date last weekend (conductor's choice)

Hello, I would like your suggestions on where I can schedule the antigen test in or around the Clayton/Concord area.  We live in Concord and several of us will be sailing on the Ruby Princess on May 20 to Alaska.  Your recommendations will be most appreciated.  Thanks, Helen.

If you email  csteinke@princesscruises.com  Kim Baldwin will respond. She great!!

Thanks Ombud for suggesting that we contact Kim Baldwin.  She was very helpful when I contacted her to assist us with our cash refunds for our cancelled April 2020 TA cruise.  With her assistance, the funds were credited to my credit card within a week.

  3. Hi - we were in both of the ports that you mentioned but we took the ship's excursions.  In Langkawi, I can recall not seeing any beaches near the port while on the bus to the cable cars. In Phuket, the tenders bring you into an area where there are several shops and restaurants but I don't think that the beaches are close to where the tenders drop off the cruise passengers.  I can't help much but thought that I would provide what I saw. Enjoy your cruise.  I'll be on the Voyager in January.

  4. We just purchased our flights for our April 2018 Celebrity cruise on Choice Air which is also part of RCL. Our flights are on KLM/Delta and we were able to select our seats with Economy-fare tickets. We had to pay to select our seats for the KLM portion (outbound flights) but did not have to pay for the flights flown by Delta (inbound flights). However, as the previous poster had mentioned, things might be different due to how the tickets are issued.

  5. We were on the Westerdam in June and the Exploration Cafe told us that they use Segafredo coffee from Italy. A few sampling of the coffee prices including the 15% service charge are:

    Large Americano - $2.88

    Double Espresso - $2.24

    Large Cafe Latte - $3.74

    Large White Mocha - $4.03

We really enjoyed our daily coffees from the friendly servers at the Explorations Cafe onboard the Westerdam.

  6. If you can't do the screen shots at least copy and post the URL of the main Flight Ease page. That's the http.... etc. We still cannot see anything as described. Yes, I have a PCC booking well within 330 days.

Dennis, we just returned from our Mediterranean cruise on June 19 and we used Flight Ease. I believe my TA sent me the information from HAL which provided us with a unique Flight Ease Confirmation Code/PNR and the password. You can probably call Flight Ease directly at (800)628-4771 or thru the HAL main reservation line and ask to speak with someone from Flight Ease to get this information if your TA can't get you the information. Once you have the confirmation code/PNR, you can input the information at this website:

    https://www.hollandflightease.com/

Hope you will be able to get into Flight Ease and look at your flights.

  7. You see, it doesn't... many cruisers -the biggest anyway- mostly dock at Moll Adossat pier in Port Vell, which has several taxi ranks outside the terminals (there are four so far) as well as a bus (T3 Port), but there are other ships (ie Trasmediterranea or Grimaldi Lines among other) docking elsewhere, at piers Dàrsena del Morrot -which is opposite to the last, but on the other side of the port-, or at Moll Barcelona and Moll Sant Bertran, which are closer to the bottom of Les Rambles and the marina at Port Vell... And these different piers are not close to each other (except for the last two) so there's not a "general info that would apply to all piers"

Hi EnricM - My boarding pass lists disembark pier as Muelle Adosado, is this the same as what you refer to Moll Adossat? I would like to know to advise car transfer service for pickup.

Also, this question is for anyone who has experienced disembarking from HA Westerdam. What is the latest time that we should request for a car transfer service if we are just going to our rental apartment for our post-cruise stay?

    Thank you.

  8. Yes, they ended up honoring the flight promo and also explore 4. It would be interesting to know who your TA is. Our TA stated that they were only honoring those offers for our specific TA agency.

My TA (PC) told us the same thing about honoring the free flight and Explore 4 perks. Since we can't mention names of TA here (but hint provided), feel free to em me at helenng8@yahoo.com.

  9. Very fun night on the Westerdam. One thing I have not mentioned is how impressed I am on this Internet Package [emoji1303] what I cannot understand is why this is not Fleetwide? To have the middle package and $99.99 for the week unlimited is great for me, would I like it cheaper , of course but this is the going rate on other ships. I was quite surprised that I was able to somewhat stream Live on Facebook.

Yes the Westerdam is bringing back new faith for me about Hal [emoji6]

Tonight's dinner in the main dining room was quite good [emoji1303]

    Hi Lisa,

Love all the photos you have been posting. I can't wait to sail on the Westerdam in June. Not sure if you are in the same office as Gisele, but I want to say how great she has been to work with when my cruise on the Oosterdam was repositioned. Thanks to Gisele and the others that I've had to work with at the LV office, I was able to get a great replacement cruise.

  10. I am still waiting to close the loop on our offer from my ta. They have told me that HAL has offered us to take one of their 12-day cruises on the Westerdam for additional $350 per person plus HAL will change our flights as well. It seems like a great deal but until I close the loop I am skeptical. I chose to take the 12-day Mediterranean Explorer cruise leaving Rome and arriving in Barcelona because I have already put a deposit on an apartment in Barcelona. As soon as I have final confirmation of the switch over I will let you know.

Anyone on a 7-day be able to rebook with any offers? I have a few offers from my travel agent, just curious what others are being offered from the 7 day.:confused:

Hi tgeoneta, I finally received my cruise invoice and I'm glad to say that my TA and HAL did not let me down. As mentioned earlier, we only had to pay the additional $350 together with the extra mandatory port fees/taxes to switch from a 7 day to a 12 day cruise. HAL also paid for rebooking our flights and offered us $100 OBC.

  11. Hi Tgeonetta,

yes, we were also booked on a 7 night cruise on the Oosterdam.

We have looked for two other cruises by ouerselve and asked our travel agency to contact HAL for a good price.

Option one was the Koningsdam 7 night to Norway and option 2 was Westerdam for a 12 day trip in the Med.

For both trips they offered us very good prices, much much cheaper as if wee would book them now.

We have choosen the trip with the Koningsdam.

They give us also 100$ per person on board critic and they pay for reebooking our flights.

We are from Germany, so the HAL service in Europe is also good.

    Greetings

    Jan

    Hi Jan,

Good to hear that you were able to get a good deal from your ta and HAL. :)

  13. When I called to rebook our cruise, the rep told me that they had only been notified of this change that morning. For some reason, HAL head office told no one until the very last minute. I can't blame the booking agents on this one, they were as much in the dark as we were.

I totally agree with you that the booking agents were unaware of the ship's changed itinerary. It's the management that kept all the changes quiet but I'm sure that the booking agents had to face the front line of angry passengers which is so unfair to them.
