I am doing consecutive cruises in November. Getting off RC Serenade and boarding RC Majesty on 19 November.
What is the easiest way to get between terminals. Is it possible to walk?
-
IMO there really isn't much to see. I did two cruises from NOLA when I lived there and depending on the time of year most of transit is in the dark. It takes about 8 hours to get to the Gulf.

Hopefully the new addiction is healthier than the original :halo:
Physically yes
Financially not so much.
But I am happy with the physical health. I get find ways to get more money; don't know a way to more health. :)

First cruise Feb 2004
Second. December 2005
Third. August 2015
Fourth March 2017
Fifth March 2018
Currently have 7 booked from September 2018-June 2019 and DW is currently looking to squeeze in another in March. As an incentive to help her quit smoking in 2017 I pointed out the cost of cigarettes in terms of "cruise dollars" so I think she exchanged one addiction for another.

The gratuities cover your cabin attendant, waiters, ass't waiters and head waiter. That's is.
Bar charges (or packages) have 18% added to the cost of whatever you buy...that's the tip.
Room service isn't included, so if you use it, tip a $1-2.....some of the "fee" they charge covers a portion of the tip.
Specialty restaurant fees include the tip...you can tip more, if you feel the need. Just remember, any drinks on your bill already have 18% added to the cost.
These are the only people you will need to tip on a cruise. You don't tip photographers, or child care people, or Crew/Captain!!!
According to Royal's FAQ page a 18% gratuity is added to the $7.95 room service fee so why tip an addition buck or two?
ETA: I see Merion Mom beat me to the punch on this.

I was able to book excursions for myself and my wife under my log in. We each had OBC and it was applied accordingly.

So people know where to stand and wave at the camera?

Sounds like a good plan to me. You could still being your debit card for the emergency just lock it in your cabin safe. Make sure to have small bills when you go into the ports, it's kind of hard to haggle down a price for a souvenir by say that you only have x amount of cash than hand the vendor a large bill.

You might get a better response if you post your question on the Florida departure board

I personally stay at the LaQuinta on 26th Ave, in Hollywood Fl

Thank you for this information. I was not aware they offered this. Good for the OP to know!
I happened across another thread here on CC after seeing this one so I came back and shared. :)

A google search reflected all the mass market cruise lines require 6 months validity after cruise dates. (Their ships, their rules). On recent threads people have written they have received their renew passports in 25-30 days without requesting expedited service.

no such animal. the 3-4 day cruises are out of FL and hit one foreign Port, per law.
shortest out of Baltimore is 6 days.
Grandeur does 5 nights to Bermuda

I was told New England/Canada is a nice place that time of year so that's where we are going.
-
Essiesmom,
What site are you getting these from? I've been trying pancanal.com for several days and can never get any of the webcams to show anything.
-
Bob, could you clarify your answer of question 2. I read it as an A/B question and you gave a yes answer.
-
I think that might be a problem in 2018. The entire ship would probably be evacuated. :o Other than that one small issue it would probably work though.:)
Ok, not a loud beep. How about a recordable message like: "help, I am lost, please contact my owner in stateroom 7555"

FB is Facebook. Go to Facebook and put in Royal Carribean Cuba sailings and this group I have found to be very helpful. Sorry if I confused anyone.
-
No it’s a FB group.
-
I also belong to another group called Royal Carribean Cuba sailings you will have to look it up. Very helpful folks there as well.
-
We have been looking for Cuba sailings past March as well and according to the representative I spoke to Royal Still plans to sail to Cuba late 2019/2020 and the itineraries will be published shortly so “keep watching”

No. I am saying that any pre-paid excursions paid with a credit card become refundable OBC if cancelled while on the ship.
I was informed 4-5 days ago that prepaid excursions paid by credit card become OBC when cancelled even if the cruise is nine months in the future.

I don't know about the "no dead ends". I like to walk the track for an hour as exercise but when the weather does not permit I walk around the interior of the ship and have had to turn around in several passageway.

Posted
checked my cruise planner for my upcoming cruises. The September and November 2018 soda packages are $8.50/day; the March, May and June 2019 soda packages went up to $9.99/day (plus gratuities). They are all available for purchase.
