Any CVS or Walgreens should do the trick. You can register online.

We JUST did this yesterday. My son finally got the time off to come with us so no w there will be 4 in the cabin. We just called and it was super easy to change on,y because the cabin has a Pullman over the ‘couch’ which means there are 4 beds. Otherwise they would if had to look for a room to accommodate us.

Walmart Pharmacy. $19.97. Had to call to book it, it super easy.

the system and website are both down right now -hence the backlog in calls. We just got off the phone with them. They are working on it.

Hi All,
I have been doing some research to try and get the best deal for a rapid antigen that we can use to board the ship. Found that at the Walmart Pharmacy - $19.97 each. Shopper Drug Mart was $40.
Anyone else experience a lower price?

We are doing the same for march break. Correct we can enter US by land with no test.
We need one to board our Carnival Cruise. I'm looking in to using the ones the kids got from school and having them "proctored" by a lab online.
We return after March 1 by land so we will need a rapid test to come back. We are looking to use the same option as noted above for the cruise.
I think we are going to go with the Buffalo airport option when we land as a back up. It is right in baggage claim. Simple. We are also booking with a CVS/Walgreens locally in Tampa, we have many many hours before we fly out and are renting a car to tour around.

This exact thing happened to me, I got a little worried that I may have missed it, but when I double checked I had definitely completed the form.
Same thing happened to us. Filled it out immediately - although it is called VACCINATON SURVEY on my profile - and 4 days later I got the 48hrs notification that I was going to be cancelled if I did not fill it out.

Someone is making a killing on that one. Only $60 with Switch at the Toronto airport (in Canadian funds as well), or if you do it a day early at a Shoppers, Rexall, Walmart, or Costco, you pay $40, $30, $20, $17 (in Canadian)
But I need this to come BACK to Canada. Checking prices at CVS and Walgreens as well. I’m already doing shoppers for my trip down.

Test at the Buffalo airport? I need to check this out. We don't fly out of Tampa until 5:00pm so we are going to try and hit a CVS prior to that, but worst case the Buffalo airport is an option.

What did you use for your return to Canada? I had thought we no longer needed a test to return after Feb 28th...but I seem to have been incorrect. We arrive late at night and were planning on heading straight to the border.
-
So...best option for taking a test then to get back? Tests you can take with you?
-
Rapid antigen is accepted for Carnival cruises. That is what we have booked at Shoppers Drug Mart the day prior.

From what I am reading, as of Feb 28th, fully vaccinated Canadians no longer need a test of any kind to re-enter Canada, but COULD be subject to random testing. Am I reading this wrong?

I thought Canadians no longer needed covid test to get back into the country if you are fully vaccinated??

Hello!
We are so excited to be cruising again. Just booked out first cruise "post-pandemic" for march break. We wanted to use all of or airline credits from our many cancelled cruises over the past couple of years, so we are driving over the border into Buffalo to catch our flight to Tampa. I've looked on many US sights to try and find out if the US land border still requires a negative covid test to cross and I am getting so many different answers. I am going to have one anyway in order to get on my cruise ship, but If I need one to cross the border by car I just want to make sure it is the proper test. Has anyone crossed over the border by car recently?
Thanks!!

Hi!
Sailing for the first time since the pandemic.
Our plan is to drive over the border to NY state and catch a flight to Tampa. My question is this; since we are flying in same day as the cruise we are getting a rapid antigen test from our pharmacy done the day prior (I read that Carnival will accept that). I am hoping that that is the same kind of test the US land border will accept as well. I can only find requirements for air passengers . Anyone with experience with this?thx!

Good to know, thanks! We would need an Uber XL - 4 people and 4 bags+. I will check out the costs for both. 🙂

Hi All,
Thinking about booking this hotel for our pre-cruise in late August. I am seeing it is getting a lot of great reviews. The only one bit of info I couldn't find is if this hotel has a shuttle that will take guests to the port the morniing of their cruise. Just wanted to know the answer before I call and make the reservation.
thanks!

I have well controlled type 2 diabetes. How would they know?
Ditto for my husband. Oral meds only. We would not disclose it on the form. ALso, Type 2 is not considered autoimmune - just type 1.

Bottomless bubbles is on a person by person basis. No rules.

We cruised on the Pride with my 16 year old, 6 ft son and he was just fine in the couch-turned-bed. My younger daughter used the murphy pull down from the ceiling above the couch.

We are Canadian as well. We did buy some through our Carnival PA just in case my elderly MIL was not able to make the trip - very reasonable.
But our credit card we booked with also provided some as well. I have to assume you are wondering what would happen if one of your family got sick and had to cancel? Credit card insurance should cover that. If Carnival cancels, they would re-emburse you.

Where there is a pullman, there is a sofa bed. The pullmans are designed for the 4th person. However there is not always a pullman AND a sofa bed. These are limited on any ship. Your PA will tell you which rooms have the pullman. This is what Carnival told me. I assume if you have a room with both, you can just utilze the pullman.
The sofabeds are quite comfy. I didnt find them small at all.

It’s been years since we sailed out of Tampa. And for the first time ever we are flying in same day which causes me so much anxiety. Eek!
Any recommendations for best transfer to the port? There are four of us and luggage. Thx!
