  1. Ok well that will be nice if it is the case however Hyatt place said they use avanti shuttle to contact them for price. I did and they told me $5 per person in their email. So maybe it has changed but the shuttle company told me last week $5 per person not $5 per room. I also checked with the hotel on the cruise shuttle pricing and they said $9 per person (last week).
  2. Airport shuttle is $5 per person and cruise shuttle is $9 per person
  3. There typically isn't luggage storage available. It will likely need to stay in your cabin somewhere.
  4. Give it some time. The system manually adds in the things like the prepaid gratuities from the all inclusive package and then credits it back out. But while it is doing this it can be concerning as it doesn't match your confirmation and items and amounts change. I called in when I saw this on my booking and was told by the agent to give the system time that everything I am supposed to have will be there at the price from my confirmation. I waited and yes, he was right it did all balance out. So give it a bit of time then check again and it should all be good.
  5. We ended up deciding to fly but I had booked with hyatt place on 17th street as they had parking packages and offered extended parking (I have a 20 day cruise) with a shuttle to the port and not far to get to upon return. I am still going to be staying there pre-cruise but not parking any more. If you are wanting room only valuetrips has a great option but need to book with hotel directly for the park and cruise package.
  6. Staying at Hyatt Place near 17th Street pre-cruise for 1 night. We get in at 3:30 pm so will be looking for a nice Sunday night dinner for party of 4 somewhere nearby. Post cruise we are staying for 2 nights. Hotel not yet decided but leaning towards Hilton marina. was thinking of trying the jungle queen dinner cruise but decided against it. Any other suggestions on restaurants or dinner experiences worth checking out on our 2 days., DH has an allergy to fish and shell fish so not wanting seafood restaurants.
  7. That is where we are staying in December prior to our cruise. Was trying to see what else might be an option for after the cruise. Wasn't sure what might have ship views, was looking at Bahia Mar on the beach as a potential option but wanted to see what others suggested.
  8. I am getting off of a ship on Sunday January 7th and not flying home until the morning of Tuesday January 9th. Looking for hotel recommendations for post cruise stay in Fort Lauderdale. Wanting to keep it under $300/night and it would be nice if we were able to see the ships come in and out. A nice pool is preferred but not required. Want to be walking distance to food options (don't need lots of options even a basic hotel restaurant will do). Huge bonus if they allow for early check-in. Don't want to venture to far from the airport as we need to be there for 6:00 am Tuesday morning so don't want to have to drive more than 30 minutes. Does anybody have any recommendations for a few days post cruise?
  9. It was over 2 weeks I think before I heard back from them definitely longer than the 3 business days they said
  10. You can order after September 25 for any cruise after that as long as it is at least 13 days away from the order date.
  11. I upgraded my drink package yesterday online and it was available in the app. I didn’t need to call.
  12. Thanks. DH is a pretty serious scotch drinker and we will be cruising on his birthday so I was going to gift this to him but wanted to make sure it was something special and not just being handed a flight of stuff on the drink menu from the bartender.
  13. Has anybody done this ? Looking at it for our summit cruise? Is it an event or are you just handed the drinks from the bar? We have premium drink package already so trying to determine if this this is a worthwhile add on.
  14. Next time we most likely will do a longer cruise. I’m not typically a fan of shorter cruises but I already have a 20 day cruise booked in dec/Jan on Princess. I had 5 vacation days left for this year so was going to do an AI in Mexico or Cuba but decided to try the 5 day cruise instead since it works with my vacation time being half a day drive to the airport and wanting to fly in a day early. So this 5 day cruise work perfect drive Saturday, fly Sunday , cruise Monday-Saturday, drive Sunday back to work Monday.
  15. I just booked DH and I on a 5 day out of Miami on the Summit in November. This will be our first celebrity cruise and first post COVID cruise. We have previously cruised MSC, HAL, and Princess. Looking forward to it. Anybody have advice to a new celebrity cruiser? Any must try menu items or restaurants (we don’t eat fish or seafood)? Any hidden gems or embarkation day tips to take advantage of?
  16. I am looking to fly in one day before more cruise on Sunday November 12th but I can get flight to FLL significantly cheaper than I can get them to MIA. So my first question is it better to get a hotel near FLL for the night then head to Miami in the morning to get the ship or head to Miami after I arrive at 4:00pm on Sunday and stay the night in Miami then just head to the ship. Also, what are the best options to get to Miami from Fort Lauderdale?
  17. Have you used value trip recently? I put in a reservation request last week and haven't heard anything. I tried emailing to follow-up and still nothing.
  18. Once your cruise is paid in full you can make the reservations. I had been able to make some prior to paying in full using the web version of the app but I think that was a glitch because it let me make them but then I couldn’t change until I paid in full. I could cancel but not rebook.
  19. Are you able to confirm current prices for the sanctuary ?
  20. My question is if you don't eat any fish or seafood is this still worth it?
