Since we can’t get on a cruise ship, and will very soon have both our vaccine shots, we are seriously considering a trip to San Juan for end of February... any advice would be greatly appreciated! I am looking at booking the Marriott resort & casino... we have been to San Juan once on a ship.

The sad thing about this is that Florida will remain on the mandatory 14-day self quarantine list. So, many people will not be able to cruise from FL, even if cruising resumes because they cannot afford three weeks out of work. I have a cruise out of Miami scheduled for November and even if it is not cancelled, I will not be able to go... I cannot spend two weeks at home after my vacation.

Yes, we are on the anthem on the 29th too. I made final payment on Friday, and no one at Royal ever mentioned that the final payment had been extended. I had no idea until I read this post just now.

I’m a spin instructor and have only ever made it to one class in ten cruises. The time just doesn’t work for me, and I am not rushing around to get to class... I do that enough in real life!

We are also on this cruise. We booked the D-Day Landing Beaches (Full Day) at $98 per person on Black Friday. We were not really interested in the museum or the lunch, but I’m not sure how we are going to get through 10 hours without food...

So can you use the OBC for casino booked cruises? I have over 200,000 points but stopped playing because I was thinking that it was pointless. We always book casino rates.

Are you on the July 7 arrival of the Legend? If so, we are on that ship, too and I am looking at a 10:25 am flight leaving BCN to Newark... seriously considering it. Otherwise, we will end up staying another night in Barcelona, which we don’t really want to do. I keep thinking if we get off the ship and in a car by 7:30 am, we can get to the airport by 8:15 , leaving us 2 hours to get to the gate. If everything goes perfect, it can be done... but I’m not sure if I want the stress.

How do you feel about a 10:25 am flight? We are on the Carnival Legend docking on Tuesday, July 7th. We don't want to spend an extra day in Barcelona, and we don't want to spend $2,000 a ticket... any thoughts? Are we cutting it too close?

So, we’re on the Anthem next month... if I pack bottle water in my suitcase and check it with the porter, do you think there will be any problems? What if I pack my two bottles of wine, too? I would really rather not pay for it on broad, but I don’t want to lug it around for two hours until cabins are ready either.

I have been trying to get to my new offers on the Carnival Website. I can get to the list under my "VIFP Offers", but when I click on "More Details" it only shows me the current "sales", but not by VIFP Offers. Is anyone else having this problem? I am trying to look at the Premier and Ultra cruises. Maybe I have been cut off from too many "mock bookings"?

We did Barcelona/Italy on the Horizon in April 2018, it was fabulous. Rome and Florence were crazy crowded but they always are. We booked the Legend for the end of June 2020, Dover, England to Barcelona. Can’t wait for that one!

We were on the Paradise in October 2017, and disembarkation was very slow. It took us almost two hours to get off the ship and through customs. I don’t know if this was a typical Tampa experience or just because it was a Cuba cruise. We haven’t had that type of delay on any other Carnival cruise.

We have been on the Paradise and the Victory twice. Still, it’s a hard choice... the Paradise has a fun stage on the lido but the Victory has nicer cabins... the Paradise usually does five day cruises and the Victory 3 or 4... if you get the extra day, the smaller stateroom on the Paradise is better!

We don’t really like to dress up for elegant night. I brought dresses on our last two cruises, but didn’t wear them on either one. My husband is retired and hasn’t worn a tie in years. I’m not there to impress anyone and after eight cruises, could care less about dressing up to get over-priced pictures taken. That being said, we always look nice, and will eat on the Lido deck if we don’t feel like getting “dressed” at all.

Just booked the Magic for December 2019 over Christmas. Needed 6 rooms so we are on Deck 9 which is under the Lido. Not my favorite location but better then deck 1. Anybody been u der the Lido on a Dream Class ship? Looking for info on noise?
We loved deck 1 on both the Magic and the Horizon... no noise, and no seasickness

A pop up message is interesting.... never heard of that before. But if the upgrade is to an ocean view deluxe, the two bathrooms are very nice to have especially with four people.

We booked the London to Barcelona cruise! Can’t wait!

Did Carnival make accommodations for missed flights?

We are booked in a Sunshine 4J on Deck 3 for our March cruise. She wanted to sell me a Ocean view on deck one all the way in the back of the ship for MORE than it would cost me to book it on my own. I said no thanks!

I did not use the Blue & White remote, but the buttons on the TV itself. I think I may have unplugged the phone cord or network cable on the back of the TV. We were on the 2nd sailing of the Horizon in April, so its been a while and I don't remember all the details, but at any rate, it worked. I will admit, a universal remote probably would have been easier. I only tried it that one time, just to see if I could... the rest of the cruise we were way too busy to be bothered with the TV.

I think I just used the input buttons on the tv. It wasn’t perfectly user-friendly, but if you know a little bit about TVs you can figure it out I think
Capacity limits for Miracle?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Does anyone know what the capacity limit will be for the Miracle? I saw that Horizon & Vista are sailing at 75% capacity. Is it the same for the miracle?
Thanks!
