  1. I'd already be on the phone asking what in heaven's name is wrong with the web site and asking that it get fixed quickly.
  2. I find it on Manage Reservations. On the left there is Reservation Details. On the page that goes to in the middle is dining details which allows you to change to what you want.
  3. What was available has changed back and forth for our late July Alaska cruise. Initially there was ONLY Anytime. Later there was only Select. Then back to Anytime. No idea what is causing these changes but you might keep track of what is available- my experience suggests that with patience you may be able to switch to your preferred dining.
  4. That wasn’t very nice of them! So- try on board then. Thanks
  5. Thanks! Signed my card up but not sure how to spend the money. The one excursion I’d like to sign up for is fully booked. Need to reread the restrictions.
  6. Are there wait lists for excursions? And if so, how do I get on one?
  7. Probably have to call to get the discounts, or wait until onboard.
  8. Got it- googled boosters and there are about 9 European countries which require the booster if your last original vaccination is that 270 day that keeps coming. I had not encountered that since all we have booked is an Alaska Vancouver to Seward. So if you are going to one of those countries you will have a test onboard.
  9. " Booster shots are recommended for eligible guests to avoid additional testing onboard at their own expense" Why would additional testing be done onboard? Just randomly? If you had been near someone who tested positive? If you were symptomatic? If you looked crosseyed at one of the officers? Celebrity throws in this line but with no context. For what it is worth- I've had both booster shots so this is not an actual issue for me but I do like to keep track of what is being required and what suggested. But understanding what they mean Is really helpful.
  10. I don't see that- SOME itineraries might (although I didn't see any that did). The US does not require boosters to return to the US. Could you give me a link to any that do?
  11. I don't think that anyone is REQUIRING booster shots at the moment. Advisable, I would think, but I haven't seen anyone saying you have to have them. Which is understandable since there are age requirements for the booster shots.
  12. Canada does not require tests to enter Canada but DOES require testing to cruise. So- 2 days out it appears to be. Have you considered a computer monitored test like https://rapidtestandtrace.com? You use whatever test you have (I think they accept almost all of them) make an appoint to zoom, and do the test online. Otherwise, there are certainly places in Seattle where you can get the tests done and you may be close enough to walk- I'd check your hotel, they probably can help.
  13. I just spoke with the Canadian ArriveCAN people about what to do. I arrive in Canada on one day, and cruise out the next day. I know that someplace here this was discussed (but I cannot find it) so thought I would post what they told me. You only need one ArriveCAN as long as you stay within the 72 hour time frame. So, flying in on Thursday and sailing out on Friday- the one ArriveCAN will cover both.
  14. I have completed the first part of the app. Can anyone who has completed the full thing (the part you have to do within 72 hours) give me some idea of what it entails? Long and tedious or short and sweet? I suspect the latter. Also, I did have some trouble booking a CovidTest as seems to be required in case I am selected for a random test. I didn't try too hard since we don't sail til late July but any hints?
  15. Wondering if this is a must do? We are taking a small boat excursion from Juneau to see Tracy Arm and unsure if the Hubbard up close and personal is really necessary. I’m sure it’s good, but quite pricey. Will we regret not signing up?
