Looking at Sydney to New Zealand or in the other direction....Princess???

Is it worth it ($300 value) or just a bunch of stuff that few people will use???

Planning a cruise for next feb or April....what time is the best weather....smoother seas and warm temps....is one month better than another??? thanks!

Right now we are booked on deck 10 mid ship balcony. port side....are there any secret cabins that have a larger balcony...we like a lot of sun...

We were on the Dawn in Dec. and as the above poster stated, the specialty restaurants were all available every night. There was even one night in the MDR where one of the staff brought us a menu from Cagney's to maybe entice us to eat there?? Not sure why they did that other than they're having problems with filling those specialty restaurants now. (for us, we never pay for food in the specialty venues, we're perfectly fine with the ones included in our fare). Anyways...you should not have a problem booking any of them after you board. And go for the suite if you can! We did that for the first time on that cruise - it was amazing!!

Which suite?? I don't like cabins in the front of the ship..that's where they all seem to be.

You don't get a concierge with a mini-suite. Mini-suites have no suite perks. Non-suite guests can make their own specialty restaurant reservations 45 days out or once you get on the ship, whichever is most convenient.

OK, thanks...we were really wondering about when you could make specialty reservations....so if anyone can make them 45 days out, then there is no need for the concierge as far as we are concerned....is it usually hard to get the reservations once you are on the ship.....I see now you can buy a package and make all your reservations ahead of time....I guess that is worth it if you plan to eat specialty for 5 nights or more...Is there issues getting reservations at 45 days out???

Thinking of the Dawn out of NOLA next January. Does booking a mini suite allow you to have the concierge book the specialty dining rooms for you? How far in advance can you make reservations on your own? The morning of or can you book for the week once you are on board? Thanks!

We want to do the same thing from Pigeon Beach to Nylon Pools/Bucco Reef. Will the tour give us enough time to snorkel there? I don't want to just do a glass bottom boat. Is it 2 different stops??? Any info will be much appreciated. We are leaving on Saturday on the Summit.

When you say Middle of the Bay....is there a certain place we should ask to be dropped off???

Where is a good spot on Accra to be??? I think we will go to the beach for a few hours early, before the crowds, have a bite to eat...flying fish sandwich.... and then walk the boardwalk and take a taxi back to the ship. If we don't make it all the way to the Hilton, can we get a taxi before that???

Both cities are great....Padua is closer. Consider doing 2 days.

Which do you think would be quicker on a wednesday morning in Athens??? Taking a taxi to the Acropolis or taking the metro???? Which metro stop should we use....is changing lines and going to the Akropoli stop better or should we just walk from one of the others without wasting time changing lines?

Bid 4 star resort in the san juan area. You can't be guaranteed that you will get the Intercontinental but that seems to be the one out there right now. If they don't accept your first offer, rebid, now checking an area that doesn't have a 4 star hotel and up your offer by 5.

Just wanted to also say that we went with Vapues tours and hiked a volcano....it was the best excursion I have ever done. It was such a thrill and what a view. We had Ray as our guide. He was wonerful, a really nice guy. It was great doing something no one else was.

We rented last year for 2 nights with sleepinitaly.com and got a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment right near campo di fiore. It was wonderful and reliable.

We booked hiking the cerro negro volcano with them for next week. We are sending a check with the deposit and will pay the remainder when we are there. Just email them with what you are interested in and they will reply.

What stop in Nicaragua did you make? We will be on the Island Princess February 12th and on our stop in Puerto corinto we made plans to hike the cerro negro volcano.

Rich, We are also on the feb 12th island princess cruise. we are looking at Vapues or Julio Cesar for a private tour to the volcano or nature tour plus leon but are waiting to try to get more info about either of them first, otherwise we will just take the princess tour to leon. if you are interested in puntarenas we are booked with Okey Dokey to do ziplining or skywalk plus lunch and beach and some other things. Are there any Catamaran tours around the different bays? I would like one that is not all covered up. I like being in the sun out on the water. Any suggestions?
