  1. @JAGR bwhahaha... guess I was hungry or my autocorrect took over! The only issue that I can find is that when doing the booking on the Italian website it assumes that your country of residence is Italy. After that, however, you can put in a US address as well as US passport info, etc. I'd try to call the US call center but we all know how that would turn out 🤔
  2. Bumping this topic. I did a mock booking of 12 June 2022 on Divina in YC. If I booked on the Italian site it was $4088 (converted to USD) including the mandatory Covid insurance. If I book on the US site it is $5798. That's SIGNFICANT. Has anyone booked this way to take advantage of culinary fluctuations??
  3. That's ok; I got an email congratulating me for achieving Diamond Status which let me know about the $50/50E OBC for every booking... Um, Nope. That changed :0) So happy their emails are keeping up with their Voyagers Club changes....
  4. With the Fantastica Experience you can have coffee sent to your stateroom during breakfast hours for free, too.
  5. Alas, in the YC on the MERA in March we received the email asking for our preferences. This did NOT transfer onboard so we had to go through it again 🙂 Go figure, the IT dept didn't speak to the ship...
  6. From personal experience I have to say "it depends" on the number of passengers. If the pax count is low there will be one show at 7:45. If there is a higher passenger count there will be two shows - usually around 6pm and 8:30pm so that first seating goes to 2nd show and vice versa.
  7. No, Eataly is closed.
  8. @Sailsilly There is no longer Eataly on the Divina (the Italian restaurant). You have your choice of Butcher's Cut and/or Galaxy Sushi. We have dined at BC many times and can highly recommend.
  9. Sadly it no longer is included (she sighs...)
  10. they Do! Just got off 4 night Divina. Day 2 in Nassau, then arrive day 3 at 08:00 and stay until 17:30 on day 4.
  11. Well the menus have tightened up quite a bit and gotten a wee bit whackier, IMO. On the Divina (5/8-5/12/22) we no longer had had an option for chicken or fish if you don't like the main courses. Rather there is a new category called "Classic Favorites" that changes nightly. For example for the Chef's Mediterranean night the entrée choices were: 1. Grilled Calamari Salad, 2. Potato Gnocchi, 3. Blackened Grouper, 4. Roast Pig or 5. Punjabi Tadka. If none of these tickled your fancy the only entrees listed under "Classic Favorites" were Penne and (drumroll please) Southern Style Chicken and Waffles with warm honey 🍯. I mean, WHAT? On MSC? I had to do a double take (considering that they usually can't execute a Eggs Benedict properly what do these folks know from Chicken and Waffles?) The next night it was BBQ ribs and the following a "Homestyle' Meatloaf. No chicken, no fish. Someone at HQ is working way too hard trying to figure out what the American Market wants to eat, but in a somewhat tone deaf manner if you ask me 🙂
  12. What you talkin' bout Willis? There are NO free upgrades for Black Card Holders (which are now Diamond Card). That is a thing of the long, long past
  13. On the 4 nighter (and 3 night) sailings there is no formal night... 9:30 sounds very early; even the YC tent doesn't offically "open" until 10am
  14. The Divina does not have wristbands. Also, do not assume that even if you book adjoining cabins that you will keep them; there has been quite a lot of instances lately of cabins being swapped. As far as kids moving around or # of people, that would be an issue, too, as they will say occupancy by cabin is tied to life boats (which it is). Remember, even if you swap key cards your IMAGE (the photo taken upon embarkation) will be on the card, so if Grandma tries to get a drink using Mom's card there will be an issue.....
  15. Not everyone receives an upgrade email and when you do there is certainly a consideration for the "original price paid" and the minimum bid to upgrade. For example, if you paid $2K for your cabin your minimum bid might be $500 per person whereas if you had paid $750 it might be $1200. (Math not exact, but you get the picture.)
  16. All are correct; pool are open. Buffet is open. Specialty restaurants and room service are not available until after muster. The YC, however, is open for lunch.
  17. Seems about right. We are currently onboard the Divina, 4 night, Deluxe Balcony Fanastica with the Wifi and Drinks. Our offer was $510 PP as a minimum to upgrade which we did not bid on.
  18. They "used to" a couple of months ago for $79 (don't quote me), but things change all of the time. When will you be in FL? Our local CS and Walgreens have plenty of availability for Rapid tests
  19. No they are not (well, caveat, they test unvaccinated kids I believe).
  20. As others have said, I'd be a WRECK. Usually they sail at 6:00 so all aboard would be 4:30. They want everyone to do the virtual muster drill and then go have their cards scanned. In addition, the crew at the port are NOT MSC employees and they want to clock out and go home, too. You are risking it, IMO
  21. You may be looking at the UK website; the benefits (no prosecco, no chocolate boat) have been removed in the US as of April 28th.
  22. they change check in times MANY many times before you board. For YC show up whenever you want after 10am.
  23. So it was posted that as of 4/28 (today) there would be favorable pricing changes.. um, nope. I was hoping there would be some 5+10% and 5+15% sailings. Now the $50 OBC is valid on Voyagers only if booked 9-12 months before. See below for what has changed on the Voyager's Club page. In addition, the sparkling wine and chocolate boat have been removed from Diamond Membership perks. YOWZA.
