  1. so interesting; I have found significantly cheaper fares on the Italian website but cannot book as the default country of residence is Italy. Is there a workaround?

    MSC Divina

Did you buy UP to the premium extra? In any case, the premium package (one lower) includes frozen cocktails - the only difference would be the spirits. Mini bar is NOT included.
  3. Yes. Carry them back and then you exchange them before leaving Ocean Cay. There is an attendant who will take and swap with you.
  4. Normally teens are now allowed in clubs, however they have their own teen activities. MSC has a strict 21 & up drinking policy unlike some other lines that allow 18 year olds to drink at sea. Not sure if these teens are closer to 16 or 19 - that might make a difference.
  5. Do you mean embarking in each of these countries? or using different MSC websites?
  6. #1 - how can an opinion be wrong? #2 - wow, you have really strong opinions about what can be worn in the MDR but now you say you don't go there? Why would you weigh in on how someone wearing a wife beater, cut off shorts and baseball cap not impact your dining if you are not in the dining room? (curious minds want to know..) #3 - Yes, meals in the MDR are "coursed" (brought out course by course), so, yes, you will wait for your dessert after the other plates are removed. Is this wrong? I think cake is GROSS; does that make my opinion about cake wrong?
  7. To #1: MDR is CLOSED for embarkation lunch #2: The Buffet 😞
  8. If you are in YC it won't matter, HOWEVER, as of two weeks ago they were checking the "check in" times of non YC cruisers.
  9. @hamrag is 100% correct that you can order anything outside of Butcher's Cut Experience Menu for 50% off. As far as ordering anything you want complimentary, NEVER heard of that. If so, seafood tower and tomahawk for me, please. Nope, not sharing.
  10. At Port Canaveral the port security guards tend to be a bit vigilant, in our experience. We had a bottle of prosecco that we brought with us, wrapped and with a card which was being brought onboard to go to a crewmember friend. Security freaked out about it and confiscated it and said they'd send it to Guest Services onboard. Good thing that's where it was going anyway 🙂
  11. No issue with the 18 September sailing (we just got home... boo....). The Divina is turning around today out of Port Canaveral on a 4 nighter that most likely will become a 7 nighter... They were making offers last night for folks to do a B2B and several people we met signed up for the adventure!
  12. Just an FYI. We are currently onboard the Divina (18 Sept). As of two weeks before sailing almost every cabin was shown as sold out. HOWEVER, there are only 2300 pax onboard with 53 in YC HARDLY a sell out. Was informed that they are limiting capacity to try to increase customer satisfaction. Your mileage might vary.
  13. Just to note the laundry service is at a fee; it is not free unlike other lines when you have status.
  14. We tried to find out and the crew has NO idea. But the upgrade offers (as far as we can tell) were sent to data mine - to see WHAT people were willing to pay.
  15. It is not ENCOURAGED, however it is certainly allowed. And appreciated.
  16. You pay double. I just got an upgrade offer for an upcoming solo cruise. It would cost more even at the minimum bid to upgrade than to change cabins and pay the difference outright. Definitely NOT recommended for solos.
  17. Not applicable on MSC. Once you log in you cannot change devices
  18. You could theoretically walk outside on deck 15 to Le Muse, but the inside route is to go from YC down to 7, all the way across... take break for glass of wine at Cafe di Bacio if needed, then continue walking and walking to the last deck of Elevators. Hit 15, go up. Eat, rinse & repeat 🙂
  19. @SingleandnotminglingRepeat after me - I will not worry about what it says on my embarkation time, I will not worry.... Book your transfer. You will be accommodated at the port. The port workers are NOT MSC employees. They want to keep you happy and get you onboard as fast as possible. PS - you don't want to get to the port at 3pm! You will have missed a good 3-4 hours of holiday by the time you get onboard! 🍾
  20. Check other postings.... unfortunately the dinner menus have not changed in a loooooooooong time.
  21. Yes, the guests next to us are getting water for their CPAP machine, no issues.
  22. Depends on how many guests are on the ship! Can be as early as 5:15 if there are 3 (or 4) seatings.
  23. Is this for a 3 day perhaps? If so, you cannot book until you are onboard. If a 4 or 7 night it may be because it is rather far out and/or final payment has not been made. I will suggest, however, that you look at the rate for the "all in Plus wifi" booking --- depending on the sailing it presents a HUGE savings vs adding the same beverage package separately.
  24. On the Divina the YC restaurant, Le Muse, is all of the way AFT>>>>>> on deck 15. So you have to go down to 7, walk across the length of the ship, take elevator up to 15. If you are escorted by a butler you look like either 1) a convict or 2) lost little birdie... (Just Kidding..) On the Meraviglia, Seaside, etc the YC rest in within the bubble 🙂
