So i can see the caribbean princess webcam and they are currently sailing to grand cayman so i guess all is well.

I do see other ships stating not available. We can hope it is just maintenance on the princess website.

I checked all caribbean princess cruises and they all say currently not available. I read the other day it was having mechanical issues. Anyone know anything? We are booked in dec 2023 and it says currently not available.

the caribbean princess is our favorite princess ship. i am a little worried as i do not see any cruises for this ship during 2025. anyone heard any rumours? i realize princess does not have the entire 2025 yet but like i said i am worried that maybe princess will sell it.

we have been on the caribbean princess 18 times because it is our favorite ship. however, in this case i would pick the majestic because of alaska. out of all of our cruises alaska is the best. lots of whales and bears on the shore and of course glaciers. like the above person said you are comparing apples to oranges on the itineraries. alaska by far is better than canada/ne.

club class dining is on the left side of the coral dining room. there is an entrance for you on that side. you do not have to go in thru the main entrance.

we do not have smartphones. yes - medallion will come in the mail before you leave. you will use it to enter your room and that is about all. oh, you can use it in shops to buy things, or when you go get specialty coffees/drinks etc you will show them your medallion. even if you have the drink package you will show your medallion to the bar tender. you will have the princess events list which is the old patter on your bed each night. you also can use the television in your room to view various things. use your computer at home to register - princess now has a web option, to do this. you can also set up dining times at different dining rooms, book excursions, etc. so - if you have a medallion and smartphone you can order food/drink anywhere on the ship and they will deliver it to you. but, like i said above, a smartphone is not needed. the medallion is identification leaving/entering the ship, buying things on the ship, opening your room. you should wear it or keep it in your pocket while on your cruise. if you go ashore, also take it with you, to use to get back onboard.

yes thanks i do know about that however i also like to watch split screen - bow cam and panama canal cam. and i add a third window - with map showing current location of caribbean princess. this makes it fun for me.

another neat thing about the caribbean princess is that you can go forward on deck 15 to a door that opens and allows you to go on top of the bridge for a great view. also if you walk forward on deck 7 there will be stairs that you can go up to another viewing area - which you can use to look over the bow to see the water hitting the very front of the bow.

the caribbean princess is our favorite ship. we have been on it 16 times. yes it is 19 yrs old but it has features that not many ships have. deck 7, the promenade deck, has a walk around outside that you can walk completely around. also, it has skywalkers which you go up an escalator in the back of the ship to a nice big sit down area that has a bar. every evening from 5pm - 7pm skywalkers has a platinum/elite party with some food items. we just went on it for a 10 day partial transit of the panama canal. the only negative was one of the back elevators was out of service. there are two outside elevators that go up to deck 18 - skywalkers and down to the palm dining room on deck 6. so, with one out of service, it upset some passengers. every cruise we have been on it the crew was fantastic. the bartenders were excellent. the room stewards were also friendly and efficient in keeping up our room. we like deck 5 international cafe which is open 24/7. the make great soy milk lates with chocolate cookie dough syrup. we also like movies under the stars - they provide lounge chairs, blankets, and popcorn. if you have any questions, let me know.

it seems like they have been stuck since yesterday. was hoping to watch caribbean princess to go thru the panama canal today. the other princess ship bow cams are not working. stuck on yesterday. anyone know what is the problem? thanks!

ok - so when i drove to terminal 21 i gave our luggage to the porters and my wife sat on a bench to wait for me to go park the car. the problem was that the parking garage for terminal 21 was full and this was around 11:30am. after driving around the block i asked the sheriff who said to follow the traffic. well, we all were directed over to terminal 2 garage - which was just fantastic since the caribbean princess was embarking at terminal 21 and disembarking at terminal 2 where i finally ended up parking. so in the beginning it was a disaster but ended up being a blessing! we had a great panama canal cruise!

does anyone know how everything will work at port everglades if we embark on caribbean princess at terminal 21 but disembark at terminal 2? after we give our luggage to porters at the ship at terminal 21 do we park at terminal 21 or do we park at terminal 2 and take a shuttle back to terminal 21? or after we drop our luggage at terminal 21 do we park at terminal 21 and then when we disembark at terminal 2, get our luggage, go thru customs, and then get on a shuttle to terminal 21 - is the shuttle big enough for everyone's luggage? has anyone done this before - how does it work? Thanks!
