Before my wife overcame her fear of flying, we used to take the Autotrain all the time. I was much heavier then, but had no problems in the roomette. My wife, being the smaller of the two of use, would take the top bunk. I think my only complaint was the I wish the leg room was a little more. We took the autotrain for the first time this past winter as we were going to our townhome in Orlando for an extended stay and needed our car. We took a roomette going down, but got a great deal on the larger room on the return trip. I do like having a private bathroom.

The maiden voyage isn't until July 14th. Right now, it's doing trials, although I know at least the first two were cancelled for some reason. It will stay in port for now.

Has the mask restriction been lifted? When we took it home in February, you still had to wear a mask when out of your room.

Correct, the lock is too high for a toddler to reach. And it's a slightly heavy door, so that adds an extra level of security.
