  1. Hi Everyone,

Please help I am freaking out because of the cabin selection we have we are in the cabins on the Upper deck that go across the back of the ship.. We have never sailed the aft section no longer the ones across the back we have only sailed mid ship.. Please help?!?!?! Is it more nosiey then normal? (I am a light sleeper). Does it vibrate? Is there more movement? Any and all information would be very helpful.. Please and thank you.

    :o:(:o:(

Thanks so much for your help.

  2. This review was great thank you.. My husband and I are due to sail on the Paradise for our Anniversary in June. We have both cruised before on the Fantasy and the Fascination. We have never done a big ship but we cant wait to enjoy the food and the relaxation.. The only thing we are afraid of are if there will be a lot of children aboard since it will be summer.. And we cant wait to do the Chef's table as an Anniversary gift.. Anyway loved the review and it detail!!!!:):)

  3. Hi, everyone MD Husband and I have reservations for the Chef's table on the Paradise sailing on June 19, 2017 Does anyone know what the proper attire is for the evening?? I do know it can be any night so if its on formal night do you still dress formal even though there will be a tour through the gallery?? Please Help

    Thank you advance!!

  4. I think it's interesting that people who come on to a site set up for comment and discussion about the cruise industry are criticized and belittled by others who don't share the same opinion or don't see a problem with the issue at hand. We all cruise for different reasons.

Fine, taking away adult only pools isn't a problem to some, it is to others.

I'll bet if they took away the casino or limited how much food you could pile on your plates some of the same detractors would be on here wailing.

    I agree with you..

  5. Little kids won't be the reason it will be impossible to go swimming...

This is my husbands and I third cruises.. Unfortunately the younger children and younger teens do make it complicated to use the pool and hot tub. Sometimes there are so many children in the hot tube you can not get in and when you do they are splashing, screaming and use water guns and other toys in the hot tub.. I was able to use the hot tub once when there was no children which was the last hour at night the tub is open on that ship it was 10pm so it was dark and must of the children where in bed or else where.. So we were the only two people in the hot tub.. The pool is always full and has lots of screaming, splashing and gaming play.. All in all if you are looking for some nice quiet time close to the pool its not going to happen in the family friendly pools area. There are plenty beach chairs to lounge on a little ways away from the pool and hot tub to lounge and get sun if that is all you are looking for.. I called carnival to day and they said they have no record of the adult pool become family friendly so I am not sure.

  6. Tonight I called Carnival to discuss my options on canceling our cruise on Splendor over this asinine policy to eliminate Adult Only pools.

After getting the news it would cost me about $1300, I was connected to a CS person who heard my complaint.

Of course she could have been feeding me a line of BS but said management was polling the responses and was open to a change.

Love kids, raised 2 and have cruised with their children.

However, adults who pay full fare and spend much of the money on a cruise need and deserve a place where we can go to swim, relax, drink( bar revenue ) and have a good time without the screaming and splashing that goes with kids.

If you feel this way please contact Carnival and make your voice heard!

HI, Do we just contact the regular 1800 customer service number or is there an email address? I defiantly want to be heard this is something my husband and I enjoy when we cruise alone because we have 3 kids at home and just want some down time.

  7. Looking for the answer to this old question, too. Anyone know? Is it the only sea day? And which night is formal night? Hopefully not the same night.

Hi my husband and I are booked on the Paradise and we have reservations for the chef table.. When we booked we got an email the next day saying the chief table can be any night of the cruise just not embark night, according to how many reservations they have for that sailing they might open up chef table lunch as well. I was also informed in the email that you will get an email 24 - 48 hours before you set sail that will state the time and day your chef table will be.. I am not sure if each ship is different but I hope this helps you some..

    Happy Sailing,
