  1. There are two food pavilions on Coco Cay, however I have never seen but one used. I think when two ships are there at the same time they open the other. The main one is right up near the tender area when you get off the ship, the other is farther down by the jet ski area.

  2. You can walk to the " Fish Fry " which is all local food in one area, many different restaurants to choose from and very affordable and then on your walk back along the beach you come to Junkaroo beach, which is free and they also have a small Tiki Bar and vendors there. Then on the way back to the ship you can stop at the straw market. Everything you were asking about and at very little expense. To get to the Fish Fry you would go out the Terminal building and turn right , follow the street around Senor Frogs and past the Hilton on your righr, stay along the beach about 1/2 to 1 mile, not exactly sure and you will arrive at the fish fry. On your way back you pass Junkaroo beach. you also passed it going to the Fish Fry. I think you would enjoy!!!

  3. We like the shows, the lounge entertainment is very good. We do sit in the sun a bit but also like sitting in public areas around the ship and just people watching and reading a book. This ship has a Solarium where it is adult only pool and Jacuzzi and a very nice little restaurant and bar all covered with a retractable roof. I have been on three cruises with a Solarium and have never seen the roof rolled back. You would like this area I think

  4. We were on the Brillance out of Tampa to Cozumel a couple of months ago.

Mostly cruised on the smaller older RCCL ships and this was a different ship completely. Loved the ship, loved the layout and I believe it was just recently renovated. I have cruised Carnival 7 times and now 10 times with RCCL

I prefer RCCL because it just seems to be a better fit for our style of cruising.

Not as gaudy as most Carnival ships and offers pretty much the same food, entertainment etc.

Try it, you will not be disappointed

  5. Was lucky enough to get a great deal on a grand Suite upgrade and it was perfect timing, Our 40th Anniversary. Any tips on how to enjoy the perks and any insider info on what to and not to do?

I want to make sure my wife has the time of her life this coming weekend

Any info how big or small would be greatly appreciated

  6. I just booked a Grande Suite on the Enchantment Of The Seas. First time ever, thought I would surprise my wife for our Anniversary. I do have a couple of questions having never been to the Concierge Club area before. I understand there is a " Honors Bar " Can anyone tell me what can be found at this bar and what hours can you use it? I was thinking about getting the Ultimate Liquor package with this cruise but if I can get free beer, wine and other liquors in the Concierge area anytime I want it doesn't make sense to pay for it. Can you please tell me how it works so I can make a decision? Thanks for your time answering these questions.

  7. I don't know much about the hotels and their prices, however I do know about the jetskis's and parasailing in Nassau. I do not recommend either, as stated earlier they are not regulated and when you look at the jetskis they look trashed and not well maintained, if you have to do jetskis or parasailing do it on RCCL private island stop.

  8. With the Ultimate package I got whatever I wanted to drink as far as alcohol and after dinner drinks went.Wine was maxed out at 12.00 per glass, which really gives you a lot of good wines. It also includes bottled water, fresh squeezed orange juice and specialty coffee and teas, either Seattles Best or Starbucks. With that said the average drink is about 8.00 . 8 drinks in the course of the day. One specialty coffee in the morning and one in the evening after dinner. 5 or 6 bottles of water thru the day. Mimosa with breakfast. A beer or wine with lunch. A couple of drinks during the day and Wine with dinner. another drink or two thru the rest of the evening. Oh, don't forget the fresh squeezed orange juice with breakfast also. For me it is a no brainer and I have to say I have never had a bad pour on any ship and if it would happen to me I would just get another and this time ask him to make it a double, ( a couple of bucks upfront when I order never hurts)

  9. I have had the drink package on both previous cruises and have found it is a money saver, at least for me it was. I have been told by others that if you have the drink package some bartenders tend to put you in "the back" because they figure you have prepaid and will not give them an extra tip. I always tip a little extra when I find a bar or bartender I like and that seems to always get their attention and in my opinion better service. I have absolutely no problem tipping a little upfront to get their attention. I know some will disagree with me but it always works and I have no complaints.
