Has anyone encountered problems printing your set sail pass? I just went to print mine and usually it prints out on one sheet of 8.5 x 11 and there is an area for your signature.
I printed it and it was three pages and no where to sign, I tried again, rebooted my computer and same thing.
Went to another computer and same thing. Was going to call Royal but figured I would ask first on here if anyone else has had the same problem?

What my wife and I enjoy the most in the MDR is the opportunity to try different items you normally never would if paying in a regular restaurant, before you say it, yes , I know we are paying for it but what I mean is we can order a " third" meal to taste and that is not something you would do if you were out paying for every item. We also order the cold soup every night just to taste it. I remember getting Lobster tail on three days cruises, but that doesn't happen anymore. My opinion, MDR is very enjoyable and if you don't like it , send it back and get something else.

Damn, I didn't know that one went through. Sorry about that.

I know this is just speculation, but with the new terminal opening in November any thoughts on what ships might be moved around and based at the Port.

No, because we always leave the autotips in place and tip extra in cash at the end if warranted which is the best of both worlds. If I were a room steward and knew someone had removed the tips from their account (yes, they know), I'd be thinking, uh oh, this cheap yahoo is gonna stiff me no matter what I do. Since it takes some effort to remove he tips, why else would someone do it unless they wanted to pay less? With our way, they know they will not be stiffed and might try harder to get something more at the end.
I agree completely, The tips that are automatically taken are what I would consider minimal at best. Taking the time to remove them and then getting envelopes at the end is far too much time away from my time on the cruise. I have always tipped extra. That's just me though. Everyone has their own opinions and feeling about tipping or not.

We sailed on the Brilliance from Tampa this past March, first time for both. We enjoyed the ship and the Port was relatively easy to get in and out of.
It takes a while to get to the Gulf, I think maybe 1.5 hours and under the bridge. It was different and nice.
Plan on doing it again next year.

I have never been on a final sailing, or a bad cruise

I was on the Majesty this past January, I have also been on the Enchantment this past year. The Enchantment, in my opinion is much nicer, but we also enjoyed the Majesty. If your wanting to sail on her last cruise with RCCL that's another story, nothing can replace that cruise.

I believe using a debit card would be similar to anywhere else you use one, they will take an amount and put a hold on it and they won't be able to use that money, even if they haven't spent that much. It usually takes a few days, depending on the bank, until it is released.
As long as they have enough money in the account it should not be an issue
-
I frequently cruise using a cash account, and they ask you to pay on it when you hit $500. It help me stay within my budget, I can get stupid when I use a credit card and I regret it later.
Isn't that the truth!!!

Understood

Not wanting to dispute what you are saying Bob, but i was on the phone with RCCL just minutes ago about another cruise and I posed the question to the young lady. She told me you absolutely have to put money down up front if not using a credit card.
-
I always thought if you were not using a credit card you had to put a certain amount of cash up front and when that ran out you had to put more in the account.
I know years ago when I was much younger I used cash on a carnival cruise and it had to be put up front.

I know what you mean, my wife likes the Pimiento menu. I do like the Strawberry Bisque, just not in love with the " entree's on that one.
-
I agree with , Mojo, Saffron and Pimiento. Pimiento being my least favorite
-
I believe the 3 day menu is Mojo, Saffron and Piemento

I am getting hungry!!

From the sound of it the Windjammer can be a very nice place for dinner. With not all the time constraints.

So our little Girl Scout cruise is approaching - we go Columbus Day week end on the Majesty of the Seas. There will be 6 of us in total. We are in two cabins.
Someone gave us a donation of $200 to use towards the cruise.
I was ecstatic.... But then the problem of what to do with it???
So I read how great the cabanas are, and we have never gotten on as a family when we have been there before, so I thought it might be nice.
So can we get one cabana for the 6 of us, or do they limit the # of people in a cabana to the number of people in your stateroom?
If we can't get a cabana, since we would have to go on the waiting list to get one, Any other recommendations for a splurge to spend this donation?????
Thanks.... really am trying to make this a special trip for the girls as they will be graduating next year and going off to college....
Cindy
I think you can go the the excursion desk the day you board and get on a wait list for the cabanas, They are offered to the Suite guests first, but don't always sell out. Not sure about how many people can use it, I think it may be 4, but you can ask at the excursion desk when you sign up.
Hope this helps.

Now you have me thinking about it, I just might try the Windjammer on a night that we don't like the MDR menu. There is always one of those nights!!!
-
I think that the Windjammer has a few items every night from the MDR. I have never eaten dinner in the Windjammer but I believe they offer a couple of items that are on the MDR menu.
You could go to the MDR and request a table for two and bring the little guy.
