  1. You are correct that the 18-20 (really more like 18-25) are not heavily represented on the ships....until you get to the "honeymoon" age its lacking for sure.  However, they will definitely not allow you at 19 into the Club 02....the reason being one is for children and you are an adult...not meaning to sound snarky but for legal reasons they will not allow it.

That being said I doubt your brothers will spend too much time there and there is plenty of stuff for you to do with them at your age....there are movies, pools, waterslides, basketball court, mini putt, trivia/games, arcade, karaoke, shows (depending on specific boat but rollercoasters, ropes courses etc)....and there will be plenty to do together.  The only timeframe I could see being an issue is if they want to hang out there in the evenings.  Don't stress you will have a blast!

  2. Costa Maya is very primitive....there is an area right off the pier with shops/bars etc but not too much beyond.  We did a Carnival jeep ride excursion that included lunch.  It was interesting and fun but nothing special.  It is not a place I am eager to go back to.  We also favor Grand Cayman.

  3. There is no set price, each individual water taxi will vary slightly.  Also, to be honest the price of one specific water taxi can vary person to person, there is a lot of negotiations on prices in Cabo and they raise/lower prices per trip often based on how much they think they can get away with charging you.  Ask a few different vendors when off ship and go with the best one.  Also, be clear on things like one way or round trip when confirming on price.  That being said only pay few dollars per person.

I looked up your room and you are actually toward the front of the ship...but you should still be ok.  Near the elevators will be convenient since you are not on an active deck.

Guess first thing should have been learning the difference between the front and the back LOL...but now with being the front, I read a few reviews lately about early morning long time noise from (rutters????)....will I have that issue?

  5. So while I do fancy myself knowledgeable about cruising, I never mastered understanding the rooms/categories etc beyond the obvious division of suite/balcony/OV etc....so I am deferring to you much more knowledgeable Cruise critics to see how I fared...

Booked a guaranteed balcony on the Miracle and was assigned room # 7149 (Catagory 8D)....I am happy I am sandwiched between two floors of rooms, it is in the back of the boat which I have always been very center, so I am not sure if that is a bad thing????  Lastly, I am near elevators/stairs which at first, I thought "great that will be convenient" but am second guessing wondering if that will just be additional a lot of foot traffic / noise in front of room???? Mostly I am just wanting to be sure I am not in a room that will hear loud noises while docking etc...Any insight is appreciated!

    TIA

PS....sail on 03/24 and received room # today 02/28 for those who are trying to gauge how far in advance they assign etc....

  6. I would say it depends on what you consider "worth your time".  If it's worth your time to save $50 or $5 will depend on the individual.  Personally, I wouldn't spend the effort if I wasn't saving at least $50.00 but I also won't wait in line to return anything at Walmart under $20.00 while my 80 year old mother with much more free time on her hands will wait a half hour in the return line at Walmart to return a $3.00 item so it's just based on the person etc.

    We are in town 7am-3pm

We are thinking of getting off the ship, taking a glass bottom boat to the arch, etc then getting dropped near Baja Brewery.

Hang out on the beach, check out the brewery, etc.  Then stop at a few fun taco/drinks spots as shown on this map.....

Is it doable?  Healthy family ranging from age 11-50

It is doable but as another stated it really will depend on what time you get off tender....tender lines fill up quickly and there is priority to those with a CruiseLine booked excursion and many lines offer priority to their platinum/Diamond passengers etc...when not trying to get off ASAP one usually gets off 10-11am ish....and you do need to head back to tender location with spare time too....so IF you want to spend significant time at either beach or brewery you MIGHT want to pick one of the two.  Our family usually gets off heads to Medano Beach to hang out at beach we eat there and then on way back hit a few shops etc.....there is just enough time to do that IMO.  HAVE FUN I personally LOVE Cabo!!!

Will it be relatively easy to obtain a water taxi or regular taxi back to the tender pier from Medano Beach? And do you happen to know how long it would take to get back to the tender pier?

You will not have any trouble finding a water taxi once off the tender.  There will be many individuals waiting right off tender to pick up people for such tours.  Compare prices and watch for funny business a bit....we did it once agreed upon price etc...took the boat and then when we returned, they tried to charge us a "pier" fee to walk on the pier off their boat...we laughed and walked away but don't be a sucker for such antics.  It is all within short distance a few minutes.

  9. My very first cruise (as an adult) we sailed out of Long Beach...we stayed the night prior at the Hotel Maya and you can see the ships from there.  I remember saying to Hubby "wow do you think our ship will be bigger then the Queen Mary????....then in the morning I got to see how much bigger the Pride was vs. the Queen Mary I was blown away....now the Panorama does that to the Miracle lol.

I had a similar question.  Room 7273 on the Miracle.  Says 3 people with a pullman bed.  Is there still a sofa in the room?  And is the pullman over the sofa?

I believe so...we have friends who are booked for the Mircale with us in a few weeks and they have a balcony room for 4 and was advised that one child will sleep on the converted sofa and the other will have the drop down bed....so you should still have a sofa and I believe the pull down will be over the sofa.
