I got it on the Indy earlier this year. Ate at Playmakers and the bartender asked if I wanted to use my $25 food voucher. Of course I said OK. Then I went back and had a second meal using the remainder of it
Of course, there is inconsistent consistency. Crazy, right? We’ve been pins 5+ years and in May on our Ovation Alaska cruise the Loyalty Ambassador told us we could no longer use our $25 vouchers at their Pub for our usual pub burger meal. We have often enjoyed a burger there in the past as well as Playmakers. He told us the terms of the vouchers have changed to only include specialty restaurants. We thought…chicken excrement! Makes you wonder where those terms are available to read. 🙄

The selection and quality provided in Royal’s Cafe Promenade does not come close to Celebrity’s offerings.
You can say that again.- 1

True for China, but that is not the point of the thread. We started in Singapore in 2017, went to Vietnam first stop 3 nights in country, the cruiseline provided the visa (which was never ever requested or looked at). If you are flying into Vietnam I am sure that you would need the Visa.
For us as well in 2019 although we flew into Hong Kong, sailed 3 ports in Vietnam and finished in Singapore. Royal provided our visas. We did have to present it once although I forget where.

Of course. And that’s what I did. On top of that, the bathrooms were less than clean and that was not acceptable.
teddieWe were on 2/4 Anthem. Public restrooms were comparable to the public restrooms we used on our road trip to Bayonne. Paper strewn even outside the doors, trash cans overflowing, lack of paper products. A woman I conversed with in elevator said she took a picture and sent it to corporate. I spoke with the head of housekeeping when I met her. She blamed passengers. Something wrong with that. We’ve been cruising Celebrity lately and there was a stark difference.
Of course it’s the unruly passengers, but also their job to keep up after it.- 3

They get paid for one of the flights, not both. Confirmed with many workers
That used to be the case. Talked with bartender last week on the Anthem. They now get paid flights both ways…YMMV.

I was on a flight recently and before take off while everyone was boarding a lady decided that would be a good time to have a facetime conversation with her friend. So everyone could hear both sides of the entire conversation.
I can top that…just heard a speaker phone conversation on an elevator on the Anthem. Person was oblivious to our looks and stares. Where is Larry David when you need him?- 2

It's amazing how self involved humanity has become. Why not just enjoy the sound of the cruise? If I opted to listen to my music from home while on my cruise, something would seem wrong to me.
Boy, I hope I have respectful people around me in my sailing. Same goes for all of you.
Years later I still have awful thoughts about the people in cabin next door that played their taste in music loud enough to detract from our glacier watching on the Ovation. If it was you, I’m still thinking bad thoughts about you. Nature and calving sounds are not as important as you or your tinny background noise. To the rest of you, I apologize for the whine.- 2

Hello everyone! Are non-alcoholic beers included in the refreshment package, or only mocktails? I was thinking about getting this for my husband who has decided to continue on his dry January kick. We are both Diamond plus and I would rather jump overboard than see him use our drink vouchers for non-alcoholic beers, 😂 We’ve never gotten the refreshment package before. Would this be a good way to go and then I can utilize his vouchers for my own debauchery? Lol! Also, what NA beers does Royal carry? Thanks!
I’m on the Anthem now, am pin with refreshment package. My vouchers have been charged for NA beer. So far, I’ve seen Heineken Zero and O’Douls.

We disembarked the Oasis on 6/17. We did have access to Chops for pinnacle breakfast. I think that’s our favorite perk having a quiet civilized breakfast there. Only 59 pins onboard that week.
We got our three bottles of wine although they made substitution for our Pino Noir. NBD, we got Merlot instead.
We had two dinners at CK. I’m not that impressed with them anymore.
One thing that was not available when you last sailed was a $25 voucher for dinner in a specialty restaurant. Hubs and I both qualified and we spent that $50 at 150.
Welcome back and enjoy your cruise.

Does that mean pay when you return from your cruise? We parked, did not pay. Will pay when we leave. YMMV.

If you park in one of the outside lots do you still pay at the end of the cruise at one of the machines by the garage? Or do you pay an attendant in advance?
We are on the Oasis now parked in one of the outer lots. They were only allowing parking in the garage for handicapped parking. An attendant handed us our time stamped paper and we are to pay when we leave.
Your guess is as good as ours,

Also, which ship will you be on? We have very recent experiences on the Oasis and Anthem. Not sure why, whether it’s a sign of the times or not, but we found the beer/vodka variety very lacking on the Anthem that did not match the description of the package. We personally would have been better off not buying the package but relying on the 6 free voucher drinks.
The Oasis had a better variety than the Anthem. The description in the cruise planner of the drink package lists variety that may not be available.

Of course we do and continue to cruise with them as well. Our oldest continuing cruiser relationship is with good friends we met 24 years ago on the Song of America.

A smaller menu at lunch but no difference in food portion sizes that I noticed.
The lamb at dinner is superb. Best restaurant onboard imho.
I like going there for lunch in boarding day and eating outside on the water. Great start to the cruise. We agree. Love Jamie’s. We have tired of other specialties onboard.

Was that when you purchased it beforehand or if you purchased it once you were onboard? We are sailing 12/12 and haven't seen anything to exciting yet. I figured black Friday would be a good time to purchase but can't beat that.
No, didn’t purchase it. Stopped by the table to inquire. We purchased two packages pre cruise but were just curious about the deal keeping in mind we get a 30% off onboard beverage package purchase and considering we get 6 included drinks a day. Regardless, we are having a very nice cruise. Did we get a deal? Who knows. -

I read that the drink package was buy one, get one 50% on the last sailing. Can you tell us if it is the same for today's trip!!!
I can confirm they were running a Buy one get second at 50% off in the Boardwalk when I saw them.

Just thought the $175 we just paid was bad.

On Oasis now. Special needs supplied one. 😀. CPAP plugs in behind bed, no extension cord required but have theirs to use. Score.

what night is filet night in CK. need to book for that night
Not sure this has been answered yet, but it was “first-night filet.” I know some ships mix it up though. -

To anyone on board…do you have any information about the Pinnacle lounge location or services?

Two weeks ago, I was not able to get a Heineken zero with my refreshment package on the Oasis. I've been on the Oasis once a month going back several months and here is my experience. When I order it, bartenders are up front and tell me it is not allowed on the package. That kind of makes me mad. I can get a canned soda, even a bottled Sprite Zero but not a non alcoholic beer. I don't argue at all anymore but originally I did and was told it was a beer and not allowed. It does taste like a beer, but to you beer nuts out there....It is NOT a beer. LOL.
On Celebrity it has been hit or miss. Their refreshment package is called a Zero Proof Alcohol package. When they turn me down, I mention that it is indeed zero alcohol and have won that fight on occasion.
