ItalyTours.eu seems to be very popular and used by a lot of Cruise Critic Users. We are using them for three ports next year while on the NCL Epic. They do have a couple options for Athens that look really good!

They are supposed to work to fill themselves, either from your ship or another one docking at same time. You probably knew that since you use them. However you're right, a reminder/request to do so wouldn't hurt! The excursions are a great value and almost exact to the ships but with many fewer people.

Glad to hear the positive reviews and we are booked with them for end of May 2024 on NCL Epic. Hope we get others to fill our Florence, Naples and Sicily stops. I've posted on the roll call board and hope others will join.

I wonder why you tendered as well? Were other ships docked? Were both locations taken? If not, what was the reason? Very irritation when you book a voyage based in part on low numbers of tender ports and then you can't walk off when you actually arrive but have to take the boats. As you said it can really reduce your time ashore if you don't have priority or get a low number.

Do you recall the cost of the Uber, and if it was reserved in advance or upon your arrival? I wonder if this is typical or you just lucked out with a great driver.

Love how the recommended wines are never under $15 and allowable on the bev pkg. I always seem to want the apps more than the entrees!

So are all drinks that my NCL promo says are "free" now subject to a 10% VAT if I were to book a Med cruise? I'd already be paying gratuities so it's not really free, buy now it can really add up. If so, maybe another line is now a greater value.

Sorry, just now seeing this! No, other than a taxi from pier to ferry on both ends, and at times not conducive to a multi-hour visit. We do have an excursion that will give us about 5 beach hours or so through cruise line, but no one gave me any options for an independent try. Only half or full day charters which are $$$ prohibited for just us.

On a past NCL cruise we caught a catamaran directly from the cruise ship dock to Jost to spend the day on White Bay. We are looking for the same in spring 2023. We don't need snorkeling, a trip to the baths, bbq or anything but a basic "ferry service" there and back which will depart the cruise pier around 830-930 am and come back after 3 pm. We would rather avoid the taxi to West End and then ferry, then after arrival on Jost taxi to White Bay but want the same as before a direct trip from point A to B. Any ideas? Ship excursions either have inclusions we don't want or include taxis on both ends and a limited 4 hours or so of actual "beach time" in White Bay. A shared trip is of course ok since we just want basic transportation there and back. Thanks for any info CC friends!

We are looking for this information as well. So many include snorkeling or the baths and not just a roundtrip to the beach without taxi, etc.
