I don’t understand. What is the issue with the west coast and Hawaii. Very few cases on this coast and I ships being turned away
The first US case was in Snohomish, north of Seattle. Western WA is having an outbreak. As of this morning, 7 people have died.

Are you asking about the land part of a Cruise Tour? Or excursions in ports?

We bought the same glasses with limoncello on the royal princess about 18 months ago.
Thanks! I'll have to look for them on our cruise to Alaska in May.

Are those $3 Bailey's in a souvenir glass just a Sky Princess thing or can you get those on any ship?

They always do their best to accommodate, whether due to dietary restrictions or just preference. It's especially easy when you do traditional dining with the same staff each night.
On my parents' last cruise, after the first night when the waiter discovered my Mom loved shrimp, he would automatically bring her TWO shrimp cocktails every night!

I will share my story. Please keep in mind that I was devastated at the time. About 3 years ago I went on the Regal and my hubby surprised me with my very first massage. I was so excited to experience it. I was told to take my clothes off and put on the robe and wait for someone to come get me. Well, imagine my surprise when the robe wouldn't close up. I had to wear my shorts into the waiting area and into the massage room. I was mortified. I've since lost a significant amount of weight, but that moment is forever in my memory. I will never go back for another massage again.
That is just wrong. They need to be prepared for people of all sizes in the spa. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that.

Does anyone know if Princess has a larger than "normal" size bathrobe?

Thanks to both of you. I was having trouble finding the info.

Can you get specialty coffees delivered through room service?

Like everyone else, I recommend the train in Skagway. It's fun, informative and beautiful! Plus, who doesn't love a train? 😃
In Juneau, I highly recommend the walking food tour. You can book it through Princess or on your own with Juneau Food Tours. It is a lot of fun. You learn a lot about Juneau and eat so many yummy things. We loved it when we were there three years ago and as soon as we booked our cruise for May, my Mom said, "we need to do the food tour again."

I had to use the Princess insurance in September and it was great! I got sick and we had to cancel the night before. (Nobody would have wanted me and my norovirus on the ship). The port fees and water we bought were refunded from Princess immediately and the travel insurance was easy to deal with and we got our refunds promptly. I was really impressed.
I know that wasn't your question, but it's nice to know that if you have to use it, it will be fine. 😃

My Dad called the travel agent today and not only did we get the specialty dining, but our cruise fare went down by $60 each. Thanks for telling us about the dining perk.

I'm booked on the Emerald for this next May and noticed that there is a new restaurant, Planks BBQ. From what I understand, they set it up next to Horizon Court for dinner. Has anyone eaten there? How was it?

My parents are sailing on November 6th. I installed the medallion app on their phones and ordered the medallions yesterday. I was given an expected arrival date of October 23.

I second Matt O'Brien. We had him on the Ruby a couple years ago. He was a great CD and we loved the Wake Show every morning.

Fruit Tartlets!
One day they had tiramisu in a shot glass. That was yummy, too.

Has anyone used the MuniMobile app? I'm wondering if I can buy tickets on my app for both myself and another person.

By the way, you didn't ask, but I want to assure you there nearly always WILL be a dining room open for lunch. Staff will forcefully direct you towards the buffet but you should persist searching for an open dining room. Deck 6 of most ships. Usually midships, very occasionally aft.
I think that if someone didn't check their bags and are carrying them around, the dining room would be a lot more considerate of your fellow passengers. No one wants to trip over someone's suitcase in a crowded buffet line. 😃

My parents just book the Ruby for October 2020 and it says that it's Medallion Class.

I'm an over-planner and I knew from my Mom what we would get, so on our last cruise, I had a printout of exactly what we wanted to swap. I gave it to the room steward and he took care of it. He appreciated having it written down.

Fruit Tartlets! They were at the International Café every day and I ate so many of them. They are the best shortbread cookie I've ever had, topped with a light whipped cream and fresh fruit. So good!

We don't have a TA, and booked directly through Princess.
Then you can deal directly with your Princess person. 😃

I wish I would have held out for this sale! I did the current one (up to 40% off + same-class room upgrade) and it has the non-refundable deposit. Darn it! Lesson learned, I guess. 😞
Don't give up yet. When 3 for 3 starts, call your travel agent and see if you can transfer to the new promotion.
New Health Questionnaire prior to sailing?

There is a new video on YouTube from the Chief Medical Officer of Princess. He mentioned that there will be thermal scanners or "non-touching" thermometers to check everyone's temp before boarding.
